I haven't seen such a promising game end up utterly failing this bad since Diablo 3

GG ZOS, you won ES. You killed Molag Bal, and in the process, took out the rest of the inhabitants of Tamriel.

The weapons of choice was greed. ZOS is too busy focused on monetizing every aspect of ESO to milk all of us for more cash instead of focusing their efforts to make ESO a game worth actually playing that can stand on its own legs.

Guess it's off to a new MMORPG for me. Good luck to everyone who is actually willing to put up with this BS

What do ESO and Diablo 3 have in common? Both saw two great and venerable franchises destroyed because both games were designed to milk players for money rather than simply be a great game.
    Invictus
Kilandros - Dragonknight / Grand Overlord
Deimos - Templar / Grand Warlord
    Sias - Sorcerer / Prefect
Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

This is a joke right? I didn't here then say people will be able to spend money on legendary gear or god mode?

Also no one was going to pay for a $60 on top of $15 dollar a month subscription for an MMO that is still quite broken. You think console players are going to pay that amount on top of their multiplayer access subscription fees for their console?

But no, go on thinking this game would be better with its dwindling population and lack of new players on top of the $15 subscription that will add up to hundreds of dollars wasted when the game is forced to shut down because its no longer profitable.

There is, of course, Option C which you ignore:

Option C: Focus on making a great subscription game with promised content releases every 4-6 weeks and compelling gameplay to keep players interested/returning.

You know, they could have been doing that for the past year instead of focusing their efforts on taking the game B2P. You know, perhaps launching the game before it was ready and then putting all of their resources toward making it B2P were the reasons this game did poorly in the first place.

    Are you that blind?

Maybe if they focused on releasing content a long time ago instead of holding back content to be later sold as DLC, they wouldn't be in this debacle.

Maybe if they spent time actually fixing their game and not letting it be a buggy, broken piece of crap, subscription numbers wouldn't be dwindling.

Final Fantasy XIV console players seem to be just fine with paying a subscription to play FFXIV online. Oh, and btw, Square has PS4 players and PC players playing together on the same server.

How are you fanboys still defending this game at every turn when the evidence is thrown in your face time and time again that ZOS does not care about their players and only cares about their wallets?

And you go on thinking that an influx of wonderful console players is going to make this situation any better. I suspect this game has enough subscribers to sustain it for quite some time, if the developers weren't ambitious for the console crowd. They certainly thought they did when it launched.

Option C would of worked had they not released the game and a very large mass of players exited stage right at the end of the first month.

Everyone who has played MMOs over the years knows very well that the loss of subs made in the first year can not simply be recouped without great effort. And almost always results in the game going under or going F2P if the loss is large enough.

Those large numbers from launch wouldnt be seen again without the game going B2P. Go look for news on ESO over the course of the last year and youll notice that after June it goes quiet for the most part about ESO. Only recently with F2P rumors has the news and interest picked up. What that tells you is no one cared about this game once they walked away from it.

Dude, people exited the game soon after released because this game was forced to launch long before it was ready. There were so many bugged quests, performance issues, etc. Why would people continue paying a subscription for issues that were WIDELY reported during the Beta?

Don't act like this is some systemic issue with the gaming industry. ESO is NOT a victim of some chronic illness plaguing modern MMOs--ESO is a victim of poor release planning, bugged quests, and sheer mediocrity.

(Note: My response is based on what I think you're trying to say, because your post makes it very unclear where you are placing blame)

Yup. ZOS dropped the ball at release. No way this game was ready for release. Those of us who decided to keep subscribing anyway simply hoped/believed that ZOS would pick up the ball, dust themselves off, and run with it. Instead, they've basically given up on the game. They will add the few things they said they would add (probably do a mediocre job of it) then it's going to be left alone on autopilot with occasional additions to the cash shop.

If you want to keep paying for this then by all means do so.
