Wow, the prejudice against people with certain jobs or preferences in what they wear. Completely intolerable you bigot.

My apologies! I didn't realize you were a vampireI'll try harder to not make fun of your people. /sarcasm
A little over sensitive, are we? Piece of advice: never set foot in a comedy club.

But in all seriousness, I don't see any good reasons to remove a game mechanic already in that game since launch. Its not breaking anything, its not breaking immersion either. The player claiming it breaks his medieval immersion is having his immersion broken by his lack of lore knowledge, none of those costumes are outside of the realm of possibilities in Tamriel.... Its absolutely ridiculous and honestly we've lost enough things in this game due to "players' immersion." The last thing we need to do is lose more. We lost addon API and better information about mechanics/happenings around the character partly due to "immersion" fans.

Hehe, I like you. You can stay.jopeymonster wrote: »Costumes serve a tactical purpose, so they should not be removed.
Costumes serve as a community enrichment device, so they should not be removed.
Costumes promote player association and camaraderie, so they should not be removed.
Costumes inhibit my ability to forget about the real world, and make it much harder to fully immerse myself into this completely fictional land of elves and monsters, in which most laws of physics are ignored, with a plethora of concepts and interactions that would be unrealistic in any other setting.
3 v 1 - Costumes stay

You have time for that? I barely get to look at the armor my enemies are wearing before I'm already trying to make them not alive anymore.
Now if the game limited gear loadouts to classes I could see this being an actual game play problem, but if it's just interrupting your suspension of disbelief? Give us a break.
