This is not necessarily true. A paid monthly sub includes 1500 Crowns per month, so depending on how much is available in the store, and how much it costs, you might be able to get it all without paying extra. I mean, probably not, but it's possible... In theory...Under the new system some new content (yes new mounts and costumes are content) will be in avalible to me unless I pay extra on top of my monthly sub.

Wait, how would allowing ESO Plus subscribers to buy Crowns with in-game gold degrade the value of ESO Plus? Wouldn't it do the opposite? No, it would significantly degrade the value of ESO Plus.

My thoughts exactly.
The question should be:
If this game is following the GW2 model of the gem store, will we be able to buy in game gold with crowns?
And if so, what will that do to the economy and crafting?
Will this incentivize ZOS to make a more global auction house system to cash in on any crown/gold exchange?
I know for a fact that people still support gold farmers and buy gold in ESO, sad to say. Why wouldn't ZOS want to cash in on this?
Before this new change in payment policy, as a subscriber I could access everything in the game for in game gold. Under the new system some new content (yes new mounts and costumes are content) will be in avalible to me unless I pay extra on top of my monthly sub. I propose a compromise. Let ESO plus subscribers be able to trade in game gold for extra crowns. Subscribers could then access all content for no extra cost and zenimax could retain more subs as well as having a great gold sink.
Not necessarily, it all depends on whether ZOS was honest and sticks to what was said on Twitch, which was no P2W items. No opening up an attachment of Ingame Money to Cash Shop opens up P2W.
I suppose you guys are right. I didn't think about the possible implication of increasing bots and gold sellers. I would rather go without the new mounts then see the game destroyed by bots/gold farming.
In an ideal world I would still like to have acess to everything in the game for the price of my sub, but I guess that world is no longer tamriel.

Then it becomes Pay2Win.id actually rather convert crowns to gold:/

Um, did you somehow miss the part where I said:I am terribly sorry, but you are deluded if you think 1500 crowns will amount to much. I apologise, I don't mean to insult.
As in it's theoretically possible that the 1500 Crowns will be able to buy you a lot, but I obviously don't believe that it will actually turn out that way...you might be able to get it all without paying extra. I mean, probably not, but it's possible... In theory...

The store is and should be a close loop system. If we can use ingame gold, that just leads to more bots. The store needs and it is based on real money. Thus, a gold farmer can not abused it.

I am terribly sorry, but you are deluded if you think 1500 crowns will amount to much. I apologise, I don't mean to insult. But what people do not seem to grasp here is that B2P/F2P (whatever you want to call it - CASH SHOPS) is a model designed specifically for the purpose of maximizing revenue through micro-transactions. This system is no different; it dreadfully resembles LotRO's model, in which you would get 1500 Turbine Points a month for being a subscriber. You know how much a mount cost in the Turbine Store in that game? 2000 TP. This game will be no different. I'm afraid people who expect to make this transition without spending more money on the game that they already were are about to be unpleasantly surprised.
