Helmet goes bey-bey when crafting/decon/refine...

I read it in this forum some 8 months ago.
Yesterday I experienced it first hand. I was doing some crafting/decon and such. It's only after I left the blacksmith that I saw my helmet was gone.
I did not un-equip it, it was firmly on my head, but now it's gone.

Does anyone else had this recently ?

Do you mean it is no longer equipped/ not in inventory or that you just can't see it?

The only issue I run into is when I craft/decon, etc my helmet goes away. After I leave the table it comes back. Sometimes it takes several seconds for it to show on my head again but it does come back.

EDIT: The only character I have whose helmet goes away and comes back after I leave a crafting table is my V14 vamp. My NB and Sorcerer do not have this issue. Quite odd....

@Ahdora : the helmet is gone.. No longer on head, not in inventory !
Like, Pooofff, evaporated...

@Seravi : I thought it was a setting. Show or hide helmet or so, but I was wrong. The setting has nothing to do with crafting.
But I have the same issue with the character that had his helmet snuffed. While crafting I never saw the helmet, just the head of my toon without helmet.

My helmet was stolen from me while all my attention was at crafting....

If you happen to remember any information about your helmet (Its name, level, quality, etc), please feel free to contact Customer Support with that information. They'll be able to take a look at your item history and see what happened, and even possibly restore the helmet to you!
