It was 1800 at launch, but was decrease. Twice.
How many population cap limit now?

    I too wish to know.
    It would also help if, when you're in-game, you could move your cursor over the population bars and it would tell you how many people are online, updated every 10 minutes or something like that.
    Example: AD, 2 bars (251) - EP, 3 bars (349), DC 2 bars (299).
    I'm a man of few words. Any questions?

    I think that it's about 50 players per alliance...
    Very few players in Cirodiil :D

    Nope, there are a lot more than that, a lot more.
    I'd say it's definitely capped at around 150-200 tbh.

    As I know, it's not current online in Cyrodiil, just how many select this campaign as home or guest...

    It seems like 100 for each faction but I really don't know, I wish they would increase it as the decrease did nothing for the lag.

    That's because they need more server computing resources to make the server tick faster not just remove people and deer and shader effects as a bandaid to the underlying game problems.
