Cannot pay subscription with prepaid Mastercard

I am able to set up my subscription with my vanilla Mastercard but it will fail to charge me for a subscription. When I try logging in it will say there's no active subscription and I'll get an email saying the transaction failed. I tried linking the card to Paypal to pay through there, but that doesn't work either.

I read a worrying post where someone found out their card was not valid for recurring payments, but I thought I read somewhere in the customer support database here on the official site that they were valid. Can someone please help? It is pretty much the only way I would be able to pay subscription, outside of finding a timecard which I'm not even sure is available where I live. I wish it was possible to just instantly buy 30 days instead of recurring payment...

Hello @Sevric‌ ! At this time anonymous pre-paid cards like Vanilla Visa cannot be used for recurring subscriptions. They do not require an address, telephone number, or any other type of information, and that information is used for security purposes.

For this reason, players have two options to choose between when paying with a prepaid card:

•Players can tie pre-paid cards to a PayPal account so that the cards can be verified and linked to their personal information. (This is the easiest and quickest option at hand, but please check to see if your specific card can be linked to PayPal as some cannot)
•Players can use the pre-paid card to buy Gametime Cards from select retailers and major online sources such as Amazon. (Just keep in mind that buying the card online means waiting for shipping)

Thank you, and we apologize for the inconvenience!
