Isn't a swamp, this is located south of roebeck. This area would be fairly flat and plains filled. I ALSO checked for a door, there is no door, so no reason for windows, AND the dirt is so low on the other side, they would have had to have built the wall the last era to even have dirt piled that high to make the window that covered. This is BS Zenimax.

A 40 block area of the city was raised 1 story to prevent flooding, I couldn't find any photos but there are windows exactly like this in Chattanooga. I'll keep looking for them, hopefully I will find it soon. Some references indicate anywhere from 2-20 feet in backfill depth...and it was in the 1860s that it occurred....pretty sure if it can be done in the 1860s in real life then it could be done with a powerful mage is ESO...like the little girl who could move the ground in greenshade.

I say leave it and consider it to be better imersion

You are absolutely correct, I looked around at the map and saw evidence of flooding, sadly there will be no lorebooks to state if this happened because technically Cyrodiil is supposed to be a jungle. Thanks for the research to help explain one of Cyrodiils' strangest phenomena

Why oh why is evidence so hard to find....if the Telvanni mages would only record the things that they did....same with people in real life!...these things would be much easier to figure out!
