Just before this last cycle on Haderus NA I made a thread asking the NA PvP community to vote on whether or not I should home Haderus and push for Emp there along with a win or if i should stick to Thornblade and continue to blow up the zergs there.

Well the Haderus vote won and I pushed to do for DC what hasn't happened since Chillrend came into the picture multiple months back. I have to thank LoM and Cry Havok for helping make my goal possible because lets face it, 8 players from Mega Best Friends can't push back a full bar of AD alone.

Many hours were spent on Haderus to make sure we always were close with points and at one point mid week we were only 4 points behind AD who was in first. In the last 3 hours of Haderus DC had for the first time that week pushed beyond 1 bar and amazingly reached 2 bars.

Multiple guilds have now decided to home on Haderus, so only time will tell if it will stay a competitive campaign or once again return to a buff server for AD.

Many will ask how the dethrone went; It was glorious. I had just about reached the 24 hour mark and only had 6 players left in my group with no negates and only 1 healer. 100+ AD pushed through Ash into the inner and moments later we totally wiped. Before anyone could even catch their breath the EP Emp push group had arrived and the blanket negates soon after began to rain down.

For minutes, I was able to widdle them down up top on the keep as they chased me with negate after negate and barrier after barrier. Finally after multiple attempts and many fallen DC I was trapped and couldn't make it out of the negates and fell.

I couldnt have asked for a more challenging and bittersweet ending to my reign but I was glad it was over and was ready for bed.

Thank you again to all of the DC who made this win possible and don't let anyone tell you it wasn't deserved because the odds were never in our favor.

They can stop with the OP whining and do what I and countless other terrible players have done: adapt.

now scales will be nerfed, making DKs mostly defenseless against ranged attacks, and seeing as how DKs have NO good ranged abilities.....

I do not foresee great things

As an AD player I'm glad to see it. I personally wouldn't mind the "main" campaign being on 7-day instead of 30.

Hopefully this is the move that gets people to start playing Haederus on a regular basis.

Was fun following crown for all that. The AD hordes melted so hard. They were pop-locked/3bars against 1 bar DC for most of the 2nd day, too.

Eternal Mountain needs nerfed really bad. DKs are by far the best emperors due to that one passive.

I think you mean battle roar? It's getting "nerfed" in 1.6 because ULT gain is going to be a lot slower than it currently is, making it harder to manage your resources by relying on resource return from the battle roar passive.

that vid probably won´t look different regarding ulti spam in 1.6 as 90% of his ulti is generated by combat frenzy - but he would have been killed 1-2 times due to the flaps 4 attack limitation.

Honestly i was amazed at how many were worth so much AP inside of the bunches that weren't. There just so many of them and the large fights were insane.

I think that push to Roe I made 15k if that explains how the peak of the night went AP wise.

I actually only used bats a few times during my reign. Between ulti gen as Emp and the ulti set banners were at the ready.

some of the AD are pretty good, but most of them are PvErs that only come when their buffs get threatened. They cap everything when everyone logs off then camp the gates.

these particular people are the bad ones.

A lot of the decent AD players that used to home/play here stopped coming to the campaign when the PvP buffs no longer transferred to Thornblade.

What is left are a whole lot of disorganized newbies and PvE players, and just a handful of die hards with some experience.

All in all, I dont really like playing Haderus anymore, because being one of the few that actually PvPs more than once a week, I tend to be a target and its really no fun with every fight being a 1v20 til I die and then the rest of the group wipes.

I knew the moment Ariana became emp this would happen. Its actually why I voted for them to come.

Also, its actually hard to get an organized group in Haderus together. I tried two weeks ago, and what I got were mostly mixed levels 40-v8 or so, and most absolutely refused to use voice comms. I had really a core of five guys in TS with a bunch of grouped pugs that spent most of their time anywhere other than with crown. =/ Very few want to listen and learn, they just want to be spoonfed easy victory or they immediately quit.

But it is what it is. Not so much bashing the faction, as I know this happens on all three, but jeez at least a DC pug might get on TS.

On haderus we take pugs into group/ts without question about 80% of the time. Yes there are times were we just want to play with our friends, but when there are only 25 of you on the server and only 2 groups running, we generally try not to alienate anyone willing to help.

don't forget a 3rd nerf on one of the most counterable ults ever... Standard is getting nerfed to be more expensive (said from an interview with a dev). I'm only speculating he did say a little increase but guessing 250 cost maybe.

With the ult generation nerf and this nerf I don't see any point using it instead of vamp ult now. Still probably best ult in PvE but DPS won't be relied upon now with ults. We will have to find better builds to catch up with the other builds for that I'm guessing, We can only keep up with NB DPS due to having 2 standards up... would like to see how far ahead they will be in next patch when we are down standard for about a minute.
