Maintenance has been Monday morning for NA and Monday night/Tuesday morning for quite some time. They did take a break over the holidays, but they will likely be back on their normal schedule now.

Unless they need to patch an exploit of some kind, or a situation that is completely game breaking for a large number of players, you are correct.
