You guys should reread what I said. Sorcs make best healers behind, -behind- Templars, meaning they're second to them, and even then NB's are just as good, but still meaning templars are the best.

Like hell guys, that's some middle school *** right there.

Best doesn't exist. It all depends on how you play with your character(racial), class and its skills.

Each patch, the flavor of the month changes.
At the moment its DK but patch 1.6 will change everything, so wait until then.

But I prefer the templar as it can do any role if you use a good DPS rotation. Its not the BEST but a good templar is never unwanted. Our 12 man AA all Templar run was a blast.

Agree. It is very sad for me to admit it, especially when comparing Sors initial situation to the one in this version

I loved how the Sorcerer was considered a good class when the game was new. A shame that all the crying about balance destroyed a class which was suppose to be for the player who loved magic.

Seriously. I am leveling one. I don't even get hit. My Templar used to sit spamming Puncturing Sweep until I wanted to vomit eating everything with his head.

I sneak in with the DK, Talons, then sit there and smile while I blow everything to hell. I don't even have GDB yet. I DON'T NEED IT. I DON'T GET HIT.

Player skill is what is best for dueling not a class.

I would go with a DK. We've been running around with one in Craglorn doing delves and what not and they can tank anything. Their self heals are incredible also. We've had whole groups wipe on the boss in a delve except for the DK tank. Not only were they able to fend off the boss they had time to res the healer back! They are beasts....

For maximum PvP pwng, DK.

For actually having fun and enjoying the game, pretty much any class. Although DK seems somewhat mindless to play in PvE compared to the others...but it's really easy to level.

Do you even duel yourself? Dusk, Gallius and Magicka have been equally dominant to the mage you are referring to, all of those are DKs. Arena Tournament was decided by Dusk, a DK.

I just joined this game thinking I would play an archer as a main. Big mistake. I'm a squishy with no damage in pvp. I shot 20 snipe shots (strongest skill for bow) at this guy who wasn't paying attention or just afk, and only did about 10% dmg, he then turns around and 2shots me (with a leap knockdown and some other attack). I have yet to see me doing any decent damage to anyone in the game.

I've decided to reroll, but I'm not sure as what. What's the latest and greatest for PvP DD?

So far, I've seen casters and heavy melee do the best. Thoughts?

Well bows are still nice, depends on your class though a Nightblade Dual wield/bow is great or a 2 handed/bow

Sorc are the most op class at the moment followed closely by a nightblade, however doesn't matter which class you are if you don't know how to play it properly then everything will kill you. You just need time to learn.
