Why do we need MORE jewelry crafting? While we can't MAKE jewelry we can change any piece to be whatever we want. Seems like we already have 90% of what's needed.
Sorry, not getting it. We CAN'T craft armor or weapons for any of the sets that include Jewelry today, so I see that as a general expansion of the crafting (something I don't think is planned).

What we can't do today is craft the basic ring or necklace. So Gold items are extremely rare. But we can change them to have any trait we want, right?

In order for them to implement jewelry crafting, EVERY set in the entire game would have to be re-balanced. If we could craft set jewelry, we could come up with some insanely OP combinations.

You can't change the trait, only the bonus (hp/stam/magicka regen, damage, etc) via glyphs.

OK, got it. But shouldn't we be able to weapon and armor craft then too? We can't change the trait on any armor/weapon. We can make a few limited traits, but not craft the vast majority of the traits in the game.

We could come up with some insanely OP combinations if we could craft jewelry for player crafted sets. Two examples would be Draugr's Heritage + Death's Wind and Shadow Dancer's Raiment + Night's Silence. And those are just two examples. I can list many more.

To get the full set bonus you need to wear 5 pieces since you can only wear ten max you can only get the main bonus from 2 sets. So again you can wear two full sets of dropped pieces or one set dropped and one set crafted, so whats the harm with wearing two crafted sets?
