The only people would be against jewelry crafting are the criminals trying to sell warlock rings for 45,000 gold through guild stores. Jewelry needs to be craftable sooner not later. Can make them 3 piece sets not related to armors sets if you want but the drop rates stupid on the rings and necks we need. thats why they think they can charge so much from the guild stores. Either craftable or increase drop rates.

Why do we need MORE jewelry crafting? While we can't MAKE jewelry we can change any piece to be whatever we want. Seems like we already have 90% of what's needed.

except that 90% of the available sets do not have 3 pieces for jewelry... you cant make a plain ring into a set, you can only enchant it. so its quite the opposite of what you say

If you know someone that is selling VR12 Warlock Rings for only 45k, then tell that person I'll take 20 of them.

Jewelry crafting won't fix Warlock Rings... You can't craft Warlock gear... Warlock rings will still be 200k a piece..
The only people against it, are the people that see how some combinations could be OP.

It might be something they could add as part of the new champion system, the ability to craft rings/amulets and the ability to learn set bonuses through deconstruction. That is probably wishful thinking though... I'll still have to ride all over creation to make my stuff.
I've explained this before, the set effects and bonus for every set in the entire game would have to be adjusted. We could come up with some insanely OP combinations if we could craft jewelry for player crafted sets. Two examples would be Draugr's Heritage + Death's Wind and Shadow Dancer's Raiment + Night's Silence. And those are just two examples. I can list many more.
To get the full set bonus you need to wear 5 pieces since you can only wear ten max you can only get the main bonus from 2 sets. So again you can wear two full sets of dropped pieces or one set dropped and one set crafted, so whats the harm with wearing two crafted sets?
You aren't getting the point. Currently you can only combine a 5-piece crafted set with a 5-piece dropped set IF the dropped set has jewlery. If we could could craft jewelry for player crafted sets then ANY 5-piece crafted set could be combined with ANY dropped set whether it has jewelry or not. That's the problem. Every set in the entire game would have to be re-balanced due to this. There are also sets that only require 2 or 3 pieces for the set effect. You can have a total of 11 set pieces for two-hand and 12 set pieces for dual wield or sword and shield.
