    Hi,
is it the latest NVidia driver? If it is, try to use an older one ... friends of mine have had the same problem playing another game ...

Recently switched to a GForce GTX 970 myself, runs on Ultra at 60 FPS, 50-55 when in combat... smooth as butter
I'm a man of few words. Any questions?

Recently (about a week ago) I started noticing some graphical corruption similar to what you have in your links.

It can happen anywhere and it only lasts a split second before the rendering goes back to normal and all is fine again.

I play since beta and never had any issues with graphics, don't know why they started now. Can't be my card temps since I keep those under control and the max values I get are well below 60 degrees.

I have an AMD HD6950 and about a month ago I installed the current AMD drivers, catalyst 14.12. Don't know if that's the cause since like I said I never had any issues at all in the past with previous drivers versions.

Anyway I talked to some guildies and some of them did experience similar issues with AMD cards (one of them stopped having these issues after switching to an NVidia card but that doesn't explain much since the OP also has an NVidia).

I really hope ZOS figures out the problem, the graphics on this game are pretty awesome in my opinion and these sort of problems really break the immersion and degrade the experience as a whole:(

There are shader problems. Some like the poison effect lines are supposed to be fixed in the next patch. I also notice the disease effect bugs out to white circles sometimes.

Same here , AMD graphics card with latest omega driver and have been experiencing the same and so does my brother for that matter, with different card.

I'm running an AMD HD6770 fanless, and don't have those issues ... maybe as I don't run TESO on max. graphical settings, and without special Catalyst settings ...

I believe I have the same issue, AMD HD 7850 1gig version. I took a bit of a break from playing for about 4 weeks Dec-ish, just logged in here and there during that time. So can't say how the game really ran, but before the break it was stable and was not doing what it is now.

Changes I know I've done. Installed Cata 14.12, updated Windows, Updated ESO, Updated Addons. Other than that, nothing on my system has changed.

What is happening now is using same settings as before the break ( in game video ) I will move and play for 3-5 minutes all is fine and then the fps will stagger ( more like what you'd expect from overheating or throttling ),down to between 5-20 for a short period then bounce back up to 40+ which is about an average constant I usually get during gaming in ESO.

Along with this is a periodic hard drive read/write that can at times be 10 seconds or 30 seconds. Only happens while playing ESO since I've been back heavily playing over the past week.

I've cleaned my computer of any dirt, heat sinks etc, lowered all ESO settings to/from min to ultra, checked for errors on hard drive, did an ESO repair, uninstalled Cata 14.12 and tried 14.11 and 14.11b ( beta ). Uninstalled all addons tried that as well. None of these changes have made any difference to either the hard drive over-activity or the games random ( FPS ) drop offs, stutters, whatever you want to call them.

No overheating of system, and no other games I play do this. Only in ESO since being back a week or so ago. I can only assume it is somewhere in AMD or ESO at this point.

This issue, luckily, is not game breaking but it is frustrating when you are in combat and frames go from 40+ to 5/10 or so for 10 seconds then back to 50 for no apparent reason.

If I had to guess I would say it's some sort of texture buffer overrun just off the top of my head as having to reload textures from the hard drive would make sense with the drop in frames and the what looks like ( loading ) drive accesses I've been seeing. But that's just a guess.

Have to wait and see for either a new Cata Beta driver or 1.6 perhaps, cause I"m out of ideas for now.

If anyone knows how to fix this for now I'd like to know.
