ROTFLMFAO - The devs are doing exactly what people have been asking for (well not literally so don't go crazy). I am laughing. The direct "NO" and done. Can't misunderstand that now can we. :p
Follow me if I advance, Kill me if I retreat, Avenge me if I die.

When this immediate evil power has been defeated, we shall not yet have won the long battle with the elemental barbarities. Another evil, it may be an invisible adversary, will attempt, again, and yet again, to destroy our frail civilization. Is it true, I wonder, that the only way to escape a war is to be in it?

If I die, you are forgiven, If I live, I will kill you.

Might as well go ahead and get all of them out of the way now to avoid hundreds of future threads. No flying mounts, no mounted combat, no capes, no children, etc....

@Shunravi‌ not true. Alfiq and housecats are indistinguishable, not interchangeable. Both exist in the Elder Scrolls world, but only Khajiit are able to tell the difference between one and the other.
I also doubt an Alfiq would allow anyone to keep it as a pet, much like Senche don't allow themselves to be used as mounts. (With Khajiit being the exception to both.)

Haha sorry guys! Ok ok, here's a legit one:
    • You can now swap weapons while mounted.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno‌

Now, let's get back to this. If you use a potion while mounted, it dismounts you. If you eat or drink while mounted, it dismounts you. Are you going to address these two problems as well? What use is weapon swapping while mounted? You can't attack while mounted, and if you use a skill while mounted, it dismounts you.

In elderscrolls, your everyday house cat is actually a variant of Khajiit called Alfiq. They have npc immunity.

I don't think this is entirely accurate. That would be like saying Chimps are a variant of humans. While yes, the Afiq are small and quadruped that looks like everyday house cats, they are intelligent, can use magic and are able to understand language (but cannot speak it). A housecat is... a housecat.

I had a pretty robust post for a suggestion on the future of Khajiit in ESO. In it I mention the Alfiq as a possible "pet" in game... but they wouldn't really like to be considered pets. lol.

Yes, you are right, it was a poorly made joke regarding their invunerability. But please keep rubbing it in. It's not like I'm upset that we have a chance to see Elsweyr and all the varieties of Khajiit, but they stuck with Suthay-Rhat and pretty much said there would be no other varieties. Alfiq are unconfirmed, and Senche are... Phamar, and not even that... yea...

But I do like your suggestions. I really hope they do more.

    *sigh*

Yes, Khajiit also recognizes some of the named 'cats' as actually being Alfiq. Though, some of the names are rather demeaning and One's cousins would never accept such a name.

It was heartbreaking to see Shunravi's lore and race treated (at the very least in name) so... simply. He holds much hope for @Gidorick's suggestions, or any of the other ways that people suggested ZOS could implement a better representation of Khajiit culture.

But this is not the place for such talk. And one hopes to not derail the thread further.

I assume enlightement only accumulates for active accounts. In that case, not having a cap is not a problem. Enlightement is account-wide, meaning if you play any of your characters which earn champion points, enlightement will be consumed, not generated. For it to endlessly accumulate, the player in question would have to either endlessly play only sub-VR characters, or not play at all.

hmm...so i can have active account and don't play for example 1 month then just coming back to the game, choose my vr1 character and grind him with Enlightement bonus+Cadwell's quest. Then spend CP on my main and repeat?
I think it will be unfair to people who play every day.
