It seems like such a big update should be in the PTS for pretty much all of January for us to test it "thoroughly" which implies to me that it would be longer than the other updates. But if you release it anytime after this week then it's not going to get the thorough attention that it needs.

PTS - THIS MONTH?
You said we're getting live 1.6 first week of febuary. Somehow I fail to see "Pts somewhere this month" with early febuary release of 1.6
In reality, the original post said the next day after January 1. This was changed (as I have checked now) to be somewhere in January. Too bad they ¿lied? to us.
Maybe it's true, but they meant January 2016

We all complain like crazy when patches come out & are full of bugs, yet everybody is seemingly now saying 'We don't care that ZoS clearly needs a bit more time... we just want it now bugs & all'!
Given the state of previous patches then to be honest if they need a couple more weeks then let them have it! I'd rather that than risk it coming out with the bugs that will come from 2 weeks less dev work going into it.
(Its inevitable it will have a lot of bugs anyway.... I just want there to be LESS of them!).

"still planning" - sounds like QA found a few showstoppers.
the gripe isnt about if it come out in 2016....its the fact that ZOS keeps telling us things and dropping the ball. just answer questions from your customers instead of say " o sometime in Jan" when they said before " the first week in Jan" . If ZOS cant at this exact moment sit down and tell us when 1.6 is hitting PTS then they got some serious issues to sort out...and should just tell us that. but they wont...because that would lose them money.

'Cause nothing says the game has improved like being able to test code that's even buggier than usual. I can read the reviews on the justice and champion system now from the five minutes Angry Joe gave it on the PTS.

How did Angry Joe test the justice system on the PTS if it isnt even available yet ? i think you might be mistaken
