When are we getting PTS 1.6

So you had time to answer server issues admins...but no time to answer anything else. Can you start putting out fires you started over the holidays and answer questions about 1.6 PTS date for starters please.

id love to know this. someone in game said it was today so I spent time downloading the pts. which I know I shouldn't listen to anyone in game. but its January now. what is ZOS doing? no maintenance and no 1.6 PTS yet?

Do we really need two, three, even four of these threads back to back? you'll get your answer when it hits the PTS. ZOS is stacking full damage mitigation at this point. Any official answers about 1.6 will come with the release to the PTS.

I think it is very telling and indicative of a lack of communication about this question and its very easy to supply answer.

The project managers and other key personnel at ZOS know the current target date for updating the PTS. Why not announce that date along with a huge caveat that the date is subject to change? If ZOS hits that target date, then everyone is happy. If ZOS needs to delay the deployment, then they have cushioned players for that possibility.

The lack of information is potentially troubling because if they truly do not know when it will be deployed, then we should all be worried with the fly-by-night operation they are running. If that is the reason for their radio silence, then 1.6 is an absolute mess.

But isn't that not serious for company not to know for monhts when to release it to PTS test server.Not live update, they should at least know in what current state they are and regarding to that know when to push it on PTS

The only thing I have seen is an official post about server maintenance next week.....but they are completely ignoring the fact we want a date on 1.6. Don't they realize how badly this is pissing people off.

I think they are afraid if they announce the PTS for February people are going to unsubscribe after that S storm they started after the holidays.

Much like with everything else related to how their customers feel, I honestly think ZOS does not care. Actual concern for customers is such a 20th century mode of doing business for most companies nowadays.

Sometime this month? I thought you wanted us to test this thoroughly? It seems like such a big update should be in the PTS for pretty much all of January for us to test it "thoroughly" which implies to me that it would be longer than the other updates. But if you release it anytime after this week then it's not going to get the thorough attention that it needs.

In reality, the original post said the next day after January 1. This was changed (as I have checked now) to be somewhere in January. Too bad they ¿lied? to us.

Considering 1.5 went live Nov 3rd... if you factor in three weeks for vacations/holidays since that time... they are now in their 5th week.

Honestly that isn't all that bad especially considering the time of year... unless you simply want to be angry. Then go ahead and be angry.

I'll be worried when we start to get to the "8th" week and no PTS.

Update 6 is ready and poised to go on PTS.

The hold up is the 200 pages of patch notes for 1.6.0 that need to be typed up in BBCode.

So they have no idea apparently....meaning we won't be seeing 1.6 anytime soon ???? I'm sure 1.6 is locked away in the same vault as all my exp that was being tracked. Why do I continue paying money to you guys .

I still feel they should make 1.6 testing open to the public. Like a second beta test. A lot of people who left want to try this to see if its worth coming back for...

I think we (they) have to wait for the actual 2.0 (with PvP Justice, full CP, Imp City, etc) to come back. I mean, I'm staying, but I fear that if people come back to 1.6 they will just be disapointed again, and this time for the last time.
