Is AD dominating the non-vet server ideal for the game?

The last couple of nights I've jumped onto Blackwater Blade with my lowbie Sorceror to have some fun, but found it difficult to get any groups going. The main reason that AD has all the scrolls and even the EP gates were open. What happened?

If this were Thornblade, I would simply say, 'Good job AD!' But when this is the non-vet server designed to help new PvP players understand the game, and we have people getting ganked before they even get out of their gate, I have to wonder if this is the best way to introduce new players to PvP.

Can anyone explain what happened? And are there any EP willing to help at least take our gate keeps?
Templars are 'just slower... by design'
Yes, Gina actually said that (at least regarding Rushed Ceremony) right here:

VR 16 Templar (retired until Templars get fixed)

    Before that is was EP dominating it. The non vet is terrible you need about 10 people to take a keep and it really should reset each round but it doesn't because frankly ZOS is terrible.

    I think it's a very healthy thing to need at least 10 people to take a keep. This only shows how ridiculously easy it is to a take a keep in the regular campaigns.

    @Lava_Croft‌

    Not on the non vet it isn't GL getting 10 people all in one spot who won't be insta rolled by the guards. I think you are are on EU servers and EP might be different there. On NA BB for DC it's you one mouth breather and the tumble weed.

    While not ideal, the Non-Vet has a habit of healing and restoring to the equilibrium point. The campaign has been dominated by each of the other factions at one point, but it's no good as a buff server since you get kicked as soon as you hit VR1.
    Main: Drio Azul ~ DC, Redguard, Healer/Magicka Templar ~ NA-PC

    Balance will be restored at some point. either the enemy players will level out of the campaign, or one of the alliances will nightcap their keeps back and, due to the VR5 guards, likely not lose those keeps again unless all of the enemy faction(s) show up.
