Why do goldsinks need to exist at all? They add no depth to the game. If you're spending your time trying to make gold you're not going to be able to spend your time doing what you want in game. It's counter productive.
If players didn't have things to sink gold into, they wouldn't need the gold at all and everyone would get incredibly rich with useless gold. The sinks they chose are unrealistic though. I like to wonder what the people of Tamriel would spend their gold on? Perhaps a castle and an army. Not a 42k horse and a few spots to stick their items. That's just lame.
Respec is too cheap. With so few goldsinks in game the economy is inflating like crazy.
Do explain then. The ONLY 2 things I've seen going UP in price over the past months are Kuta and Nirncrux, especially Potent. Even the Imperial motif can be had for under 50K now, Daedric/AE are regularly dropping to around 22K. The prices of refined materials went up a little but as a direct result of the added Crafting Writs which require a ton of mats (nothing at all to do with too few/cheap gold sinks). Legendary Tempurs are actually a little cheaper overall than they were months ago. Even stuff like Tomatoes aren't going for a crazy amount atm.Respec is too cheap. So, if respeccing was free all the trading guilds would collapse?
Lets even forget the cost, having to re-talent 270+ skill points each time you want to redo things is a pain in the a$$. They need to add one more type of respec, a-la-cart where you pick specific abilities/passives to respec at a cost of XX per point and ONLY those points you choose, even if the individual point cost is higher like what has been said.I think it would be cheaper if we could reset single skills for 500g since every time I respec, it's only for a few points in the wrong place.
I'm ok with it makes you think a lot more what you want long term
I'd agree with this. Knowing the cost of reallocating my points means that I am a lot more careful about which ones I spend and at what time. Each one actually feels like a meaningful decision about how my character will develop and what goals I am working towards at which time.
If it was free to respec then I doubt that I would be similarly involved in the process and if that happened now, I think I would miss it.
Resetting skills:
Why do the game punish players to pay so much gold just to reset skills ?
their are so many skills to choose from, but very limited amount of gold we can get in a day. So why why does it cost SOO MUCH GOLD just to reset leaving us broke. I love to experiment in skills and builds but, the cost of resetting so much and it is limiting all players disappointing. We Pay $15 a month , this should be free and this should be included, Why do I even have to bother writing this post ?

It's meant to be both a gold sink and to prevent players from just switching things every few hours.
Hello. Just a question to that skill clearing system.
Did the taxe grows depending on how much times you reset the skills?

It's not expensive - 3k.
It is not as inconvenient as attributes or skills - you can do it anywhere without having to pray at a shrine.
But adding a cost reduces flexibility and speed.
When I switch a character from a questing setup to a group healer, using Wyyknds, I can do it with two mouse clicks. Swap the mixture of Hundings and Willow's Path to Eyes of Mara and Willow's path, along with jewelry. Two mouse clicks: one for what she's wearing, and one click for the skill bar swaps.
I'd like the same option to retrait my Champion Points. The ability to save two or three different point distributions would be wonderful. In fairness it only takes moments now but it's another friction point to grouping among many.
I'm not complaining. I simply think that the notion of paying to use what you've earned is clunky and too trivial a gold sink to be worthwhile.

That's kind of the point, though.
If you want to be a hybrid character type, then you need to distribute your Champion Points accordingly. My tank/healer has no trouble switching between the two because I've put points in to passives that benefit both roles.
