[Solved] Launcher Keeps Telling Me Games in Maintenance

Launcher was unable to connect, said in maintenance mode, another user pointed out that if I had bit defender it could be doing it. I did in fact have bit defender and have followed his suggestion and launcher seems fine now. Thank you.

I think this is being caused because launcher.bethesda.net is unreachable. NS lookup is fine, but cannot ping the IP.

Are you a bitdefender user?
In case you are having a problem loging into the game just go to BitDefender -> Protection -> Web Protection -> Whitelist and add "launcher.bethesda.net" to the list. Afterwards just run the launcher again and you'll be able to login. Cheers

Thank you! God you'd think an IT guy would think about the AV, but it was working fine earlier. Amazing!

Np, it seems to be a problem with the ssl cert of their website, should be resolved in a few days. No worries though, can't harm your pc.

Is your firewall or anti-virus software blocking it? Someone was saying BitDefender was upset over the manifest file that the launcher downloads.
