As as former Star Wars Galaxies pre-cu Veteran and EVE Online Player I just wanted to tell you guys how much I love this game.

I have not been entertained that good for a long time.

Usually I don't like "Orks and Wizards" games, but this one really got me hooked.

Thank you so much for creating this wonderful game.

Cheers
Skordit.

    Cause... google!
Hello people, first of all a Happy New Year:-)

I just wanted to say how awesome I think this game.

I do not at all well exactly where to start: first The character creation is ever really good.

Have already spent so many hours and had my character and one or two times delete it. It took something until I was quite satisfied with the look xD.

But it's really fun is it to have time to check everything carefully etc. The tattoos, scars of war, etc. are great:-) .

2 Classes and races. I love to play the night blade (Stalking and strike). The animation of my chars with the wings of his two swords, shortly before he missed the final blow just too cool:-D Just makes it extremely much mood to play a "Waldelfe", a mix of mage and archer. Power also extremely much humor, especially because of the animations, etc. .

3 Quests: Here we are all agree that the quest system is second to none in this game, right ?? There are almost no "hole seven of X and bring it to Y" as in so many other MMOs. You experience epic stories where the individual is possibly must decide at the end, if you do the right thing or the wrong thing if necessary.

Example: Decide whether you destroy the relic or want to keep it (Carzogs destruction). Your "decision" means that some NPC's will not talk to you, or something bad will continue to exist. That's almost like the "ring of power" in the Lord of the Rings (my Preciousss):-P

I could continue as environment, graphics, behavior of NPCs or speak the NPC's and you do not always have to read everything. But then I would write until tomorrow morning yet.

In short: Thanks for this cool game. I was for ages not so well maintained.

Just FYI: I am a Star Wars Galaxies pre-cu veteran and am more "complex" Games usual. Before that I played EVE Online. ESO is the right variety that I hoped for. I did not think that I am a "Elves and Wizards" game so fascinated. Good work. LG Skordit
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

It happens. Google Translate is the only reason I was able to participate in German and French discussions so I'm all about it.

While I do love ESO, it's no Star Wars Galaxies. That game was way ahead of it's time, and there hasn't been a game since that's even come close.

Yeah, this is much more theme park, but I definitely love the character building. Sometimes when I am down on ESO; I go and make a new build that is not part of the optimal stuff in game. Or maybe it is, but I find a way to work it in with heavy armor in stead of light. it's what I liked in SWG and consequently unlocked Jedi partly because of doing that sort of playing around.

yes of course I agree that this is not Star Wars Galaxies :-)

I am one of those guys who left SWG short after the combat upgrade, since it was not my game anymore. They simply removed everything that I loved in that game. That was in 2003/2004.

What I am trying to say is that Elder Scrolls Online got me hooked, even though its not as complex as most games I usually play. Its still so much fun and I love it.

I think some times we dont have to expect a game to be like this or like that, as long as it makes fun, we should enjoy it :-)
