If ESO had a cash shop for vanity items, what do you think would be in it?

They should sell a little vanity pet to follow you around named Lag Monster .

It could look like a rubber band. :D

Revision: What if ZOS added a cash shop into ESO that contained vanity items (items that didn't give player advantage)? Inside would be things such as vanity pets (like the mudcrab and monkey), costumes, name change tokens and appearance change tokens.

If such a thing was added, what do you think they would add into it?.

They do have a cash shop, it's already here.

It sells a horse and I believe a few pets, but it's still a cash shop.

I mean one where you just purchase in-game items instead of having to buying external things to get them. That includes the Imperial Edition.

Me canceling my sub. I have said this multiple times and will say it again. Sub or cash shop. Pick 1.

I didn't specifically mean a cash shop. I meant any form of a sort of DLC. Cash shops would be the end of ESO as we know it. I'm referring more to as like how WoW and Wizard 101 did it.

Also, as another idea, what if they had a cash shop that didn't have anything useful, moreso just vanity items such as costumes that we could wear for RP situations or just to be random, or vanity pets that, unlike pets that fight, would act like the monkey, mud crab, or the other vanity pets and just followed you around? People would just pay to look cooler, but they would be no better than anyone else as their combat gear wouldn't change and could only be obtained through hard work.

With that idea, we could have a sort of item fusion where you take the stats of one item and the look of another and combine them. Wizard 101 did that and so did Neverwinter. That would allow us to change our looks, but again the stats would only come through hard, honest work. I think that seems fair to have a cosmetic shop.

The bold part is the first step on the road to hell... Why not implement cosmetic recipes for tailors?
Anything other than a "cash shop" option just for the sake of "the cash shop" would be much more appropriate and outright nice.

And I agree with many others by saying, as soon as there is a cash shop, the game comes to an end for me.

Nah, no pets, just the Palomino horse and an Imperial Edition Upgrade offer.

When you buy the plushes from the Bethesda Store, they come with codes for in-game pets. I like my Guar pet. Much better than my monkey.

As mentioned, there is a cash shop and there is also a merchandise store.

    Cash shop offers
    1. Digital Imperial Edition
    2. Digital Standard Edition
    3. Digital Imperial Upgrade
    4. Palomino Horse

Other Items to be added over time, such as future expansions, mounts, ect. But nothing will be added that is not lore friendly.

    Merchandise Store offers
    1. Hoodies
    2. T-Shirts
    3. Shot Glasses
    4. Wallets
    5. Plush Toys with in-game variant
    6. Lithographs
    7. Collectible Statues
    8. 60 Day Time Card
    19. Key Chain

A few other items on this line of items.

So those that say they will un-sub if there ever is a cash shop, then why have you even bought the game. The digital editions was in the cash shop before the game's launch. The Palomino Horse was added shortly after launch.

Because we're discussing a cash shop like they have in Neverwinter, TF2, CS:GO, Warframe and even Wizard101.

Is it really a cash-shop, or is it more a convenient way to acquire the horse?
How else would you intend to get the horse, in case you bought the imperial edition?

The horse wouldn't be in the shop since it's in the imperial edition...

The Palomino horse is NOT in the Imperial edition, it is only available separately. The Imperial Edition has a white Imperial horse.

They already have a shop on the website where you can buy the Palomino horse. I'd rather have them put vanity pets in there along with character services instead of being in the game.

As one of them myself, I don't like to see cash shops in game, if they are on the website its much better.

I would like to buy an autocorrect passive

That would auto correct me if i do one of the following in a hard intense fight
    1. Accidentally press 5 to turn off inner light ( why would i do that.)
    2. Accidentally weapon swap to bar 2 to use razor armor instead of crushing shock, even when razor armor is still active...

    Both real life examples.

Of that is too hard to make for the cash shop, i would really like a monkey running next to me, pressing the right buttons for me, that would really help keep my dps decent
My monkey would know they right rotation for a dk dps, don't you think?

Emperor Armor sets. VIP Emperor Upgrade Armored Mounts. XP boost potions, Cyrodiil instanced housing keys, lockboxes or lockbox keys, the usual stuff. Plus a plethora of stupid pets and mounts.

    And me not playing. :'(

No frog, but there is a guar, but you have to buy the plushie and if you live in europe (or anywhere outside of NA) it costs a small fortune.

I'm against a cash shop when the game is already subscription based. What MIGHT be nice is that, for every month you are subbed, you get access to DLC via some sort of subscription point system. That way you could either get some small but cool thing monthly or save up your points for some really cool "big ticket" item.

    Let me see...

    Digital Imperial Edition - $79.99
    Digital Standard Edition - $59.99
    Imperial Edition Upgrade - $20.00
    Palomino Horse - $14.99

Theoretically, if ESO had a cash shop...

I had no idea you could buy a horse in the store. Is it the same stats-wise as the fastest horse you can acquire in the game? Or is it actually different from that one?

Nevermind, I just need to read. It has the "standard" stats. Guess I'll be sticking with my white Imperial horsey after all.

    However, THIS makes me curious!

I actually really dislike how my horse always disappears the second I step off it. Is this picture completely misleading or is this "pet your horse" animation something special that comes with THIS horse???

I never understood paying $50 for a vanity item or mount when you can use that $50 for something "real" and cool for home or the office.

I'd like to see a one-time access to a wizard that lets me turn my existing mount into something else. A clannfear, a sabrecat, a giant dog, etc.

I want to ride a Clannfear, or even a small dragon. Why don't we have any exotic mounts anyways? Just because horses are the main source of transportation in the series, doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to tame other creatures.
