I honestly don't understand why ZOS put in vet ranks to begin with.... can someone epxlain to me a good reason for them being in?

I just got 4 60 Day game cards for Christmas . Now I really hope 1.6 works ...
It maybe until late January till we see a patch release . But I look at it like this . Wat am I gonna do during winter N the riding season is poopy anyways ? Play Tor arenas ? Lotro PvMP ? Feather animae fight on Aion ? Or look at WOW graphics N read quest lines ? Nope . This is still my cup of tea right here . I'd rather sink my money into a MMO that I hope gets better because I like the franchise better then the others then sink my money into a MMO I already know I'll never get excited about .
I was never a fan of Midevil games until this one came out .Tried the beta on a whim N have been entertained ever since ...
At any rate; on to my selfishness. I just want to be able to get in and PvP with reasonable effectiveness and earn my way that way, rather than grind VR quests through PvE another couple levels every few months.

In fairness, also to get full value from the content they created by letting everyone play all 3 factions. Creating 3 entirely separate quest lines and having, at best, only 1/3 of the playerbase interact with them is a pretty bad return on their time investment. Cadwell's gold and silver is a cost-effective means to get extra value out of all that labor.

most people don't do cadwells silver and gold because veteran content is boring as f***, i should know, as I actually sat down and did it all. I will not do it again until vet content recieves some actual incentive

Either it's what I'm looking for, or the game is uninstalled off my hard drive.

Cool, I never liked you anyway.

The imperial city will spice things up for only a very short amount of time. Cyrodiil is massive, it's the biggest zone in ESO, and only about 5-10% is used, and that includes the areas where people are traveling from keep to keep.
There needs to be more stuff out in the wilds of Cyrodiil that allows players to do to aid their faction, Not to mention Cyrodiil seems a bit empty, or 'dry' for being right next to the main opening to Coldharbour, there is very little daedra out and about.

It's probably related to Cadwell's Silver and Gold. When playtesters started asking about being able to play the other faction's PvE zones, I figure that Veteran Ranks were slapped on to at least give some kind of character progression while doing the other faction's PvE zones.GorraShatan wrote: »I still don't get what people are hoping for in 1.6. There's jack all there for PvP. How could it be a let down when there's nothing promised?
