I'm hoping that someone can help me understand where I'm going wrong...or if this is just a grossly overlooked bug in the game.
Whenever I list an item for sale in a guild store, I see the following tooltip by house cut:

So, doing a little simple math, if I sell an item for 1000g then the guild would see a cut of 70g according to the 7% outlined in the tooltip.
The item sells. Whoo-hoo! I check the guild sales list. It lists the item as having sold and I am emailed 930g (the 1000g original list price minus the 70g house cut). And yet, when you check the guild sales record it says that 35g has been collected as taxes...and the guild store only sees an increase in its bank by 35g.
Soooooo...wouldn't it be more accurate that the tooltip simply says that the guild will get only 3.5% as a house cut because that's all the guild is really seeing?
We already know the listing fee is a gold sink but is there a SECOND gold sink as well on the tail end of every transaction to the tune of an additional 3.5%?
Confused.
