Launcher crashing when I hit PLAY

I just finished downloading the game today, but it won't launch. The launcher starts up, I hit PLAY and then I get the crash reporting box. Steps I have taken:

-Rebooted

-Run the launcher as administrator

-Tried to run the game directly from the eso.exe file

-Repaired using the link under Game Options on the launcher

-Tried this solution http://www.gameskinny.com/qc95m/elder-scrolls-online-a-guide-to-fixing-common-issues-bugs - this requires you to change text in a file- that file has not been created because I have not ever successfully launched the game and that file doesn't get written until you do, apparently.

I put in a ticket, but have not been answered. I am hoping I won't have to download again. I will try that but if it doesn't work, I am cancelling my subscription and asking for a refund.

Do you have a Firewall or Router? You may need to enable Port Triggering on the device. Note, do not set up Port Forwarding (which is more difficult or at least requires more steps/config to do than Triggering)

If you have a Windows Firewall, try turning that off and see what happens, same with any Real Time AntiVirus Monitoring (if it works, then figure out how to add the game to the exceptions list)

If you do not have a Usersettings.txt file, the game will not launch properly. Luckily it is very easy to create this file yourself!

Open up notepad and create a new text document and paste the following information into it:

After that, save the file as "UserSettings.txt" in the My Documents/The Elder Scrolls Online/Live folder and restart the launcher. You should now be able to launch the game client by clicking Play.
