Logged on and my gold is gone

Greetings!

I logged on today and I am missing over 200k gold. I did not spend it. I did not put it in my bank or in any of my guild banks. I submitted a ticket in game. I worked hard for that gold. Please let me know what happened. It happened within the past 24 hours. I play in an end-game guild, and I play very often. A GM assisted me (Kathy) with a loot issue yesterday and I am wondering if maybe she has something to do with this error.

    Did, per any chance, Kathey ask for your password, while solving that loot issue of yours?

    AFAIK CSR still has no access to character editors, so any change to char inventory couldn't have been done by them, other than adding or deducting gold. Oh. Wait.

    200 K gold gone? Ouch, I can feel your pain. I sure hope you get them back. And if someone at CS removed it, even if acidentally, that is not good at all.

    There was a thread here a week ago or so about an addon that had some rogue code in it that emailed all your gold to another player. Maybe that's the problem?

    To nip any further speculation in the bud, all support agent actions are automatically documented in great detail, especially any actions that involve direct interaction with a player's account (for example, restoring an item). Additionally, for player security purposes, our agents do not have the ability to log onto player accounts.
