Character Completely Stuck, Unplayable [Resolved]

Update: the character has been moved and is no longer stuck. However, please have a look at those evil character eating walls

I have been eaten by a wall. I've put in two tickets, and a bug report also in hopes that no one else gets stuck in this evil corner of walls.

I am on the quest Amputating the Hand. I was doing the gauntlet for cleansing a ward and protecting a priest, when I got knocked back by a mob into a wall. I can not escape the wall. The mobs see me, but they aren't highlighted and can not attack me, so I can not attack them either (which sucks because I have ambush and might have been able to use that to get out).

In using /stuck I get an error for being in combat. For the same reason, I can not jump to another player. I have crouched, rolled, jumped, /playdead, /faint, anything in desperation to move my character, all to no avail. I decided to ALT+F4 and relog in to hurry and type /stuck as quickly as I can before the gauntlet starts over, making me in combat once again. I managed to type it, clicked "E" to use it and paid the fee, it says it is "moving", but then cancels out midway through because I end up in combat again. I have tried this twice.. no idea if it is wasting my money or not (probably).

So, I decided to log out for 15+ minutes to see if it would reset me. Turns out, it isn't really a solo dungeon type thing, so I don't get timed out, I'm still stuck there. As I type this my primary character is unplayable. I waited for a good half hour for a GM, but no luck.. perhaps it is the time difference as I am in Europe and on NA servers. I have things to do, so maybe later I will have more luck. In the meantime if it is possible to have this addressed somehow that would be nice. In the worst case, I would like to bring this evil wall issue to light and the /stuck command not being entirely reliable.

I know unfortunate things happen, and I have done my very best to remain polite and cordial, but do not mistake my manners to mean that I am not very irritated and angry with this situation.

I have had similar things happen. I got stuck when a mob tossed me into an inescapable area. The only way out, after trying logging out, teleporting to a wayshrine, teleporting to a guild member, and /stuck, turned out to be finding a "gap" where the mob could hit me. I even tried getting the inactivity timer to boot me in the hope that would free me. Eventually, I was able to die and respawn at a wayshrine, which was about 10 feet from where I was stuck.

I submitted a /bug first because I did not realize how stuck I was. I did a /help after that, which probably duplicated the /bug. True to their warning about being delayed, I think this places you at the back of the dead letter queue that is processed urgently by the holiday janitorial staff... during lunch.

They got back to me almost 25 hours later. I got a note from CS letting me know that I was not stuck anymore and telling me to contact them if I actually was still stuck.

Bottom line: Good luck getting a GM to help while you are in the game. AAA Roadside Assistance, they are not.

Travel to another player is considered as a "jump" at least according to the error message I got when trying to use it. I did also try that and can not jump when in combat.

@ZOS_GaryA‌ : Thank you for your reply. The name of my character is Nirnayeth that is RN not M (just to be sure, had that issue in other MMOs previously with people mistaking my name).

The character is now moved and no longer stuck, thank you! I find it weird I ended up at Vinedusk Wayshrine in Reaper's March all the way from Alik'r Desert, but at least I am FREE! XD

I would just like to share the most useless email reply I received to the situation:

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team.

I am sorry to hear that your character was stuck. There are several ways to try and fix this issue:

Type /stuck in the command line of the Chat Box (this will send you to the nearest wayshrine for a modest fee). Please note, you will only be able to use this command once every hour.
Type /reloadui in the command line of the Chat Box.
Use /camp to log out, exit game server, wait 15 minutes, and then attempt to log back in.
Teleport to a friend via the Contact list [O].

Another way to reset the character is to travel to a wayshrine manually. To do this, follow the steps below:

Open the Map up by pressing the [M] key.
Once the Map appears, look for Quests on the right-hand side.
Click on the map pin icon on the list of icons at the top.
Select a desired destination.
The map of that area should appear, and all discovered wayshrines in that region should be visible.
Click on a wayshrine to return to that region. This will have a gold cost.

The canned response has GOT to go. I specifically indicated in my report about my issue that the /stuck command, trying to travel to a player, logging in and out (via Alt F4, my only choice), and waiting 15+ minutes did NOT work when sending in my issue.

It is a waste of everyone's time when we are told to try to do things we have already done.

I've been stuck a few times but I resolved the issue by bringing up the map screen and 'travelling' to a wayshrine. Costs a bit of gold but works fine!
