Daedric Artifacts in ESO

My thought is that they should have the Daedric Artifacts in the world of ESO, and how to have them without everyone hoarding, selling them in the game, getting too over powered with them, etc

Well when you pick them up they are Bound to account or a single player and then they have like a 72 hr game time timer on them. When the timer ends they disappear and go back into the world.

This is so another person will have a chance to get them and use them, in this way for 3 days someone feels really cool and a little OP (within reason :wink: ) and has bragging rights and then another person can find it in the game world as well.

ZOS could also add a achievement with the list of Daedric artifacts to find and when you complete it you can get a title like "Daedric Artifact Hunter" and a cool color to dye your armor and such.

Note: there will be only one of these Daedric Artifacts per server in the world but there are many of them (see below). They will be of Legendary quality.

    I agree that it could be fun, as long as the item has an appropriate cooldown time.
    For example, Wabbajack would have the ability to turn a player into a random object or creature (let's say a carrot, or a frost troll), but only every 10 minutes and for a duration of 60 seconds.

    This could prove quite difficult to add into the game but it would definitely bring some fun.

    Any ideas for carrot skill-line? o:)

    The Wabbajack for example could force your PvP enemy to dance for three secs or until they use the break free (just like the Shadow line Fear ability), this could also be used on humanoid PvE enemies as well, since they already have the dance animations.. :smile: for monsters they could just run away or be stunned for 3 secs..

    I've heard rumors about Artifacts being mentioned in ESO Live, and that they'd be very similar to Guild Wars 2's Legendary Weapons (obscenely hard to grind for, have unique animations/appearances, but otherwise are only slightly better than top-tier weapons). Mostly for bragging rights.

    Whether they're temporary or not, they should be bind-on-pickup. It was weird seeing them be sold in-game by hoarders/gold sellers.

    I would really like them to add daedric shrines in ESO with the quests and artifacts you got from them.
