Chat box transparency bar not working
I am unable to adjust the transparency (opaqueness) of the chat window. When I go to Esc - Settings - Social, the second line is blank and I cannot move the slider which should be the slider that controls this.
I know at one time this worked because I have an older character that has this set to 100 and the chat box stays black. However, today I created a new character and I am unable to adjust this setting. The chat window disappears after a few seconds.
I would really like that chat box to stay up while I am playing. Was this option removed for some reason, or is something broken?

Do you happen to have any addons installed? If so, please give a shot to disabling them and let us know if the transparency slider works after that.0 -

I do not play with any addons. The only thing I noticed that is new since I last played is the chat bubbles, which I turned off but that didn't solve the problem.0 -
I can also confirm this to be NOT working as well. Created a new character today and I can't move the bar. Tried with and without addons.2 -
I reported this on 11/17. The person that replied to my ticket, Justin, asked me to /bug it in game which I did. He also responded that he went into the game and his slider wasn't working either. So over a month and no fix so far.1

It is still buged on live. It apparently works on PTS. I know it is a minor issue but it still bugs me whenever i enter the Social settings window on live to change guild chat text colors.0
