    I dont know what to think of this.

    While i myself never really had a problem with scales, i do agree that it is ridiculously spammable. It will be nice to see DKs having to do something besides mindlessly charging 30 people head on like morons, yet still surviviing all because of scales.

    However, like you said, i am worried it will push DKs to the bow/destro staff builds. There is already a large number of players in PvP that do nothing but block and cast crushing shock/impulse... imagine all those DKs switching to that build.... and if y'all think snipe spam is bad now.... oooohhhh boy, lol. y'all are in for a RUDE awakaning.

    Whats worse, is that DKs wont have any choice, but to go the typical block and cast crushing shock/impulse build. i have faced plenty of DK archers with my Vet NB archer... i have beaten almost all of them, only the ones that had reflective scales could ever beat me. DKs DO NOT have good ranged capability..... their one ranged skill is pull chain.... and its so bugged that im sure ZOS wont go back over it until the CS in... whatever month it was; comes in. The only thing a DK can do with a bow that will ever be equal to a NBs abiltiy(or a sorcerers ability, isnt surge just awesome:)?) with a bow, is what i mentioned in the above paragraph; snipe spam. A DK sure as heck wont be tanking entire groups solo without infinite reflection from reflective scales... so the only thing a DK will be able to do is go snipe spam/destro staff crushing shock/impulse spam.

    Its a very interesting decision to say the least. I myself never expected ZOS to think about nerfing scales.... How will the countless DK players that are used to tanking whole groups solo, feel when the change to scales comes in? i do hope the CS does some actual balancing of the classes. if not, then PvP will TRULY become an all out destro staff/bow battlefield. Snipe spam will be at its highest, impulse blobing/crushing shock block and spaming will be at its highest... lag will be horrendus...... ZOS has to be very careful with what they do with this skill.

    Funny how one skill can have such a drastic affect on the game isin't it?:D

    Now, i am hoping that it has a more positive affect on the game(which im sure it will) However, if this scenario DOES actually happen.... y'all know what to blame:D

    Dodge roll will be better than scales now, I think we will be seeing allot more DK stam builds, as stam builds slowly become the master builds of PvP.

    Stam builds will never be as efficient as magicka builds are until they finally decide to change medium and heavy armor passives to match the shields you cast when you play a magicka build. Evasion will never be as good as Annulement + Igneous Shield/Blazing Shield/Hardened Ward/Healing Ward and you obviously can't keep all those shields up using a stam build.

    As a melee DK, it's a MUST to get those shields up if you wanna survive unless you wanna dodge roll forever. I personally prefer to keep the shields up.

    About the topic of the thread, I like Aoe Barbecue's idea of changing it so it has a chance to proc based on a % instead of a 100% chance.

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
    • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
    • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
    • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
    • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities

    I like to be able to rely on things.
    The only times when I reflect more than 4 is when fighting a group. Experienced players know not to use projectiles much, so that could be part of it.

    I can see a new tactic of just spamming projectiles to kill DK's (like everyone really), light attacks especially. I'm fine with the change if they increase the duration. Four seconds is really not very long in pvp.

    I was ok with the duration before because of the incredible scaling of not having a limit, but if they're going to add a limit they should increase the duration.

    Well, operating inside those all too common disorganized loose packed zergs that try to bring walls down with their bows will no longer be possible, too bad, it was kind of fun. Time to grab a bow or staff if you want to participate in battle, or join an impulse train. Sperheading a charge to a flag through npc fire will also be out of question, like is soloing some fun minibosses / group dvelves.

    btw. I wonder does the crushing shock count as 1 or 3 reflects?

    A lot of pure Rangers think this nerf will make them useful against Dks with reflect. While in reality, the only way there hits will land is if they have 3-5 other Rangers shooting at the same DK.

    lol this happens a lot.

    in cases of many against many, most ranger would pick the easiest target visually. usually one with low health or one astray from the zerg. soon, it will be the one with a big firey wings.

    the case where big group vs big group goes random ranger shooting at random targets is realistically not the majority of time.

    back on track, i think it's a nice change. i use it a lot but if the only thing they drop is max hit, then it completely makes sense.
