2). Near ruins. Seems like I see a lot tucked in around the structures outside of Ayleid ruin entrances.
3). Near water. Seems like I see a lot near lakes and streams and stuff like that. But not as much along open coastlines.
4). Craglorn. Might not necessarily be more numerous here, but there is not as much in the way of grasses and flowers and trees and stuff like that, so they seem easier to spot.
Also, the distinctive triangular green/red/blue glow can be seen from far away at night. So if you are gonna go on a runestone hunt, it might be best to wait until nightfall in Tamriel.
Bleakrock is one of the best places for that in the vet zones. Given the snowy area the runes stand out more and it's almost always nightfall there, too. It's the best place I've found. I can generally find 2-3 Kuta a night.Definitely good advice. Turn off Grass, set view distance all the way up, and then run around at night. You will find so many that you normally would have missed.
Aspect runes are the easiest to find as the red glow is more easily seen from a distance. But one thing rune hunters don't always realize is you need to get EVERY runestone you see. Period. Even if you don't need it. Any runestone can spawn in those locations, so if you only harvest aspect, it reduces the chance of of the kind of runestone you want spawning. Likewise, harvest everything, and it greatly increases the chances of Aspect runes popping up.Surfinginhawaii wrote: »Damn that is a lot of kuta, my damn hireling might give me one once a month.
