Someone ravaged me and gave me the werewolf disease and I didn't have to pay him for it.

when my char was end lvl and I tried getting started with provisioning, I had a real hard time finding beginners recipies, so a random player who saw me in zone helped me out for free, I returned the favor when I maxed provisioning (see screen)

It's nice to see more things added here! Recently one of my guildies gifted me over 10,000 gold so I could get the black horse I wanted for my villain. My guildies are awesome.

A guildmate gave me the Daedric motif for free, and I certainly couldn't have afforded it myself. He didn't ask for anything in return but I did make a full set of daedric armor for his lower level alt.

I think the nicest for now, from an almost complete stranger, was buying me vet 10 Soulshine necklace. For those who don't know, that's jewelry set #1 for endgame magicka based dps and it results in...interesting prices - despite it being vet 10 GREEN jewelry I wasn't able to find the neck for less than 40k. Which is more than I agree to pay for trying out a build. We were discussing that built with a guildie I'd run a couple dungeons with and I told him I lack the necklace to try it out...after which he just went and bought it for me and refused to take any money ._.
Huh? I have several sets of VR5 - VR8 Soulshine. I think the most I ever paid for a bit of that was 1500g. I have several sets because I change things around sometimes. I bought mine in Rawl'kha from Guild vendors.

For me, after being unable to whisper to several people, ignored I guess, I went zone chat and asked for a lift for my crafter to Coldharbour where he has to deliver Crafting Writs. Got one right away from this nice person, who asked nothing for doing it. I gave her 10 Consummate Sweet Rolls for her trouble, she was pleased.

Two guild mates have given me Vamp bites for free, despite being low level.
I'm always trying to pay it forward, crafting people items for research for free and offering WW bites for free.
Will be offering Vamp bites for free when I get them to Vamp lvl 6 :)

I'd name the guilds here, but not sure I'm allowed to.
Both have lots of very nice people :)

Free bites and free crafted stuff.

I've given away gold and mats to new players to get them a horse or whatever. Only today i gave one rank 13 player 10k, and a legendary mat of each profession to sell.

When I first started playing ESO, I had never MMO's before and was very clueless (still am in many ways.) I will be forever grateful to the other players who mentored me through my first dungeon experiences. This was before dungeon scaling and a Vet level character could go with you through a dungeon. Without their help I don't think I would have stayed in the game. Those kind people showed me a whole aspect of the game that I wouldn't have tried otherwise.

I've seen people fighting a mob with low health and if I'm on my Sorc or my lowbie Templar I usually will hang back and heal them. I have also had the same done for me... pretty cool. I also had a enemy player let me through the gate once, since we got the home keeps to open it, to get the skyshard, I think he saw I was only level 20 (at the time) and just went on his way... he could have easily killed me once he saw me.

V10 costs a lot more because you can put a Monumental Glyph onto it.

I'm not sure what the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me is, but I really appreciate it when people let /zone know that they've found M'aiq the Liar, and stick around in the area to stop him leaving again for a while!

Nestor sent me a blue item he had just picked up in the game because he knew I'd been hunting for an the trait. He'd previously informed me of a guild store that also had several items with traits I needed for research. I think some of his Guildies can thank him for that too :D

My ingame friend knew i got lots of gold but i never wear any legendary, he sent me 16 wax and 2 kuta and asked me to please make 2 legendary items for myself.

Back in those early days, im going to low level zones to host a hide & seek game for a prize of gold or yellow mats.

Went to stonefalls, found a low level who was trying too hard to kill a bull netch, gavehim golds.

In craglorn while doing the shadow grind, i hosted a trivia question game, giving golds.

Lots of nice people in this game, the most entertaining part of the game is the community itself.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I encountered a very nice situation in pvp last night. I played for DC on Thornblade-EU. We tried to take back Warden just when the big lag appeared after the yellow scroll was taken from Warden. When I realized that I couldn't damage any player/npc neither use my siege weapons I just waved to one of the defenders. He noticed me, so I started playing lute and he danced to my music. After some time the defenders left their wall and came down to us. We danced, made music and sat in the snow just as if we were friends.
When the lag disappeared I somehow didn't want to fight them and felt sorry when some pugs killed them.

I regularly craft purple armour / weapons / glyphs at no charge for my guild mates, occasionally legendaries if I have the materials. Trait trading is always done for free in my guild - has been since early access

I also regularly do interest free loans for my close friends. The better their gear, the better our times in Trials (So we all win really).

Nicest thing that's been done for me though, was a big hearted gent gave me a legendary staff, complete with legendary enchant when I hit VR12, in the Daedric style (when it was still rare).

    I was stoked!

I'm going to go waaaaay back to when I was testing in the PTS (before beta). As my first mmo, I was enjoying the game, but obviously not up on all the mmo-ness and even with the game, only had a few days experience when I ran into Wykkyd randomly. I asked in zone "How come this level 10 guy has this awesome armor? (I was level 20something at the time) What am I doing wrong?" And they explained they were vet10 and had been testing for a while. He proceeded to buy me a horse, take me into cyrodiil for some pvp, and just all together show me the ropes of the game. It was very cool. Thanks wykkyd.
