Just looked at the Face book page and Apparently this is true.

Edit: I don't know how much of this ZOS is going to confirm but they linked that page to their own Facebook so I'm gonna say at least most of it.

    Man I know. I wish they would let us test it for the whole 6 weeks. And test patches to them during that time too.

    very exciting! and I agree I hope this is tested thourogh and added when ready rather than rushed to keep on track with the 6 week update trend.

    Hey no problem. I don't like to think that things are confirmed when they come from 3rd party site. But like I said ZOS linked it so I figure its ok. I'm excited for the Champ! But I bet those animations are gonna be awesome once they get them fixed.

    I bet you this is going to start a whole new slew of funny graphical bugs.

    This is why we need people in the PTS! ZoS tests stuff but they can't really put it to the test like us! Granted we shouldn't have to do it, players should try everything out in the PTS and if they see any problems at all they need to be very descriptive with reporting feedback. I usually try to do it as much as possible but its hard when I'm alone.

    I'd also like to add that I do pay attention the the flair of weapon attacks, I honestly didn't see anything wrong with most melee weapons. Sometimes I like to hold a heavy attack, have my character swing and then let go. My character holds the 2h in a position like he's ready to make another attack. Which is really cool.

    Well my concern is that people do report bugs but they make it to the live server anyway. If there are bugs reported then ZOS should take as much time to fix them as they need. Even if that means delaying the update.

    I wonder what his source is. He doesnt mention where he got that information from. So i wouldnt be so sure actually about what we read in that article ;)

    Just saying you might get disappointed after that article ;) I usually dont trust third party articles like that without a note of the source.

    That article reads like it was written by someone on their first day writing. Don't writers even proof read any more?

    Complaints about the writing style aside...combat animations? Seriously? Who cares?

    What would be cool is fixing the current animation where your character runs like they just dropped a load in their pants/robe every time they look in a container.

    I was more excited that they talked about the champ system meaning that it looks like the next phase is actually coming.

    His source appears to be ZOS at the guild summit. He refers to seeing the changes at the summit in the ninth paragraph starting with the word flair. I assume he just means seeing the animation changes.

    Given he is unlikely to have been paid to write that article and is unlikely to be a journalist I think he did a good job pointing out a topic he is looking forward to that was not getting a lot of discussion.

    Looking forward to the next road ahead to hear whether they will be implementing all of these in update 6. Guess I had better use up all my pepper soon if they are.

    I wonder how animations that take attack speed into account go along with animation canceling.
    Sounds a bit like animation canceling 2handed weapon attacks is going to be most effective.

    I can see how those on the edge of their seats might grab onto this and I'm a fan so I'm interested. But it really doesn't say much; call me a fan who's learned to be hesitant (because: ZoS).

    ZoS shouldn't mind re-posting/sharing this because the specifics--or lack thereof--are akin to what Zeni would write themselves. And it's publicity with little/no obligation of anything in-game. ;)

    Take your time, Zeni. Get this one right.

    We are already in stage 2 so it should be stage 3.
