Cash store updates? race change, extra char slots etc?

I am okay with a cash shop really only for things that are ALSO available for in-game gold. This way no one is locked out of anything and those who don't want to wait the time it would take to earn the in-game gold necessary can pay for the privilege of instant gratification. Win-win.

I would merrily vote in favour of any function (e.g. name change, player appearance change, pet appearance change) that:

    a) Has no mechanical impact whatsoever (no race/class/faction changes).
    b) Is also available through the use of in-game currency (non-exclusive).

The importance of (a) has been discussed before on these forums, use of the search function will turn up more than a few threads, and the drawbacks (FOTM etc.) have been listed and explained at length.

Non-exclusivity should also be retained as anyone who has already forked out enough money to have a system and subscription that allows them to be here should not be precluded from accessing all available functionality and content.

Of course, all of the above is entirely my own opinion and based on my own experiences.

I would like a race change to be available after completing a long and difficult quest.

Beesting, Bosmer Magica DK, AD EU, crafter
Slager, Dunmer Magica DK, DC EU, pvp
Farmer, Dunmer Magica DK, AD EU, trials build

Every major patch looks like the end of the world but somehow i just cannot stop playing.

No Race Changes! That will hopefully never be in the game.

I'm in favour of paid Race / Appearance / Alliance changes.

WoW did it, and still does it. I wouldn't like to see the figure I spent on name / race / alliance changes over the six years I played for. :grimacing:

But, I enjoyed my time there, and would probably do the same thing here. Just because sitting in Rawl'kha is dull as dog-poo now. Maybe I would like to stand in a populated Wayrest, or Riften.

I'd really love vanity, name change and appearance change to get added to some cash shop or something

NO. No cash shop whatsoever. It ruins any game by locking you out of content.

@neizir, the cash shop is already here, it has been since day one, it's just that all it sells is the horse.

    @selique and @K9mouse too.

I think name and appearance changes are a good idea, I dont support race changes. Faction switch only to a lower pop faction maybe. But that's a big maybe. It just seems to many things could go wrong

I'm okay with faction changes as well. Maybe you should have to do a quest though in which you go over to the other side. Traitor! LOL

I would have dearly loved the option, and been willing to pay for it, to move my characters from the NA to EU server. Paying to switch servers is common.

Plus as the game ages, folks do move after all. Six months in....I can start over. A year in...would be a deal breaker for many I think, particularly in a game where so many game elements are tied to time spent playing.

    There is a cash shop?
edit - Oh, like buying the game itself, getting the upgrade, paying for a special horse, and getting the utra upgrade.

Don't really consider that a cash shop, its like the same options to buy we had on preorder.

As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.

The goal posts soon shift. Once the cash shop is there it evolves and alters the whole emphasis of a game.
