Bigger game = bigger patches. I mean the game is huge - a big open-world, graphically rich, expansive game. That's part of what makes it awesome. You can't then complain about the size when you enjoy all the perks of said size. Show me a zone in WOW or GW2 as big as Cyrodiil.
Yep the game is massive (42.2Gigs as of now) but its not the responsible for eating 728Gigs of your hard drive.I only have 1 terabyte and as it is I have to start uninstalling things. Im down to 272 gigs, I have a couple other MMOPs and games on here but even WOW doesn't take up that much space or GW2 which are the other two I play.
Can we get an official response on why you guys cannot figure out how to do patches like a proper MMO? Like I shouldn't be forced to uninstall things just to play.
Rage. Goddess, sing the rage of Peleus' son Achilles,
murderous, doomed, that cost the Achaeans countless losses,
hurling down to the House of Death so many sturdy souls…
Got home from work 2 hours ago, no kids, no wife this evening... 44% and waiting.

Might have to do with the data types transferred, some file types are heavy compressed like textures, other are not compressed and as the installer compress the stream they will go fast.OrangeTheCat wrote: »What puzzles me is why the first half or so of this download happened so quickly. But as soon as it hit about the 70% mark it has slowed to a crawl. 70-71% has taken nearly two hours for me and I am certain nothing else is taking up bandwidth on my network.
