✭✭The reason the patch sizes, even minor ones, are so large is because Zenimax simply lacks the ability or know-how to insert changed code and files into the existing file structure. Every other MMO knows how to patch correctly.
For example, if it was reported to Zenimax that a certain NPC's dialog was wrong, and it was only 2kb of text, but it was inside a 14GB file, you would have to download that entire 14GB file just to fix a single sentence that an NPC said.0 -
