... oh never mind, it just tells me that some random guy I don't know from one of my 500 members trade guilds has finished a raid and his score is displayed without putting it into relation with mine.
if you make about 12,327 threads like this one all saying the same thing maybe zenimax will get the hint that this is how we feel ingame.
i truely hate those very annoying ingame messages telling me this stuff and i hope it gets fixed soon.
I don't mind when it's someone I actually know. ("Your Friends and fellow Guild Members @name", which amused me since it was only one person, and I didn't know she could be friends plural). But I'm in three large trading guilds, and yes - 95% of the time I have no idea who the person is.
It does make me laugh when someone's time for a trial is in the 300 minute+ mark because of all the deaths. I had one today which was 586 minutes!

You just wasted ~ 4.5s of my life which is 2.7s more than those notifications usually waste.
What it took 4.5 sec to read that, I read the whole thread in under 3 secs, and your's is halfway.

I agree 100%, though is anyone actually surprised we are missing any options to customize our notifications? Thank you ZOS for your completely intentional and not at all lazy approach to a unfinished "minimalist" UI design.
Best code ever... looks quiet familiar to me... wait for it.... wait for it... hmm... hard to remember... wait for it... ah! now i got it! Same structure of code ZOS uses for the client-server communication.
This could be fixed by just putting a checkbox in all your guilds to remove or accept notifications but since they prolly have one monkey working part time on the UI (else I can't understand how it can suck this much) they prolly don't have the time to dev this.
I will include this concern in my next monthly "Fix Your UI Zenimax!" post
Yup totally agreed. They're massively irritating. I want fine control over ALL notifications in-game. Whether they come from people on my friends list or from guilds etc, I should be able to choose which ones I will see.
In my opinion the ONLY messages you shouldn't be able to block are the ones from ZoS concerning an impending server downtime. That's it.
