Good riddance.
I'm enjoying questing the way through Cadwell's Gold on my 2nd character. Maybe I'll need to grind a little between VR10 and VR14 when I finish the EP zones but for now I prefer the quests.
One month ago Craglorn was mostly people grinding, either through the scorpion boss or Hircine's. Now grinding is still possible but a bit harder and much less annoying.Alphashado wrote: »Good riddance.

Good riddance eh? You gonna say that when this game is F2P because there are no subs?
I enjoy questing just as much as the next guy. I don't dislike Craglorn. But I can see the bigger picture here. There needs to be alternatives. In order for this game to succeed, there needs to be options. Trying to force people into one single linear path to endgame is a formula for failure and one of the reasons the game is rapidly dying.
I saidAlphashado wrote: »You said it yourself. You will have to grind between VR 10 and VR 14. Where do you plan on doing this? Since ZOS seems to nerf every spot people find?
I'm not in a hurry, I'll probably do some dungeons, play some PVP, quest in Lower and Upper Craglorn, clear the V12 trials and normal Arena until VR14Maybe I'll need to grind a little between VR10 and VR14
Then it looks like if they just added a Banker (with Guild Bank/store access) then that would be a good move to "re-populate" Craglorn. Again though, it doesn't mean those players there would be willing to help quest/delve/etc. Also, I'm still a firm believer that Craglorn (and any future Adventure Zones) should be all Faction. ZoS could easy make it so that there's no open world PvP in Adventure zones, just like other games do with specific areas where the opposing Factions are there for the same reason, to fight a more dangerous foe.SteveCampsOut wrote: »
There's a dye station there too.

When did they add that, guess I don't get around to Belkarth often enough lol... NM you're talking about the Guild vendors outside that were added. I forgot there was a banker up on the hill.ers101284b14_ESO wrote: »There is a banker with guild store access as well as 6 kiosks right outside the city.

I don't think this mean what you think it means. Have zone chat filled with "LFG Grind" "2 spots open for Bittermaw grind." "Anyone doing UC grind?" "Grind, grind, grind." "Grind, grind." is NOT life.
Have a zone full of people just sitting around camping spawns is not activity.
It's just grinding. Grinders go where the grind is and where they can get the easy XP.
The same amount of people questing and doing the content are still there. In fact, there's probably a few more of them.
If anything, people seeing Craglorn as being "dead" are just feeling what the rest of us feel who have been trying to actually do all the quests in Crag but can't find people to do it with.
The whole thing about this game is so simple.
1-50 is amazing and everyone loves it.
V14 is fantastic. You have arrived. You can now start the second game where you PvP, do trials etc.
V1-V13 is a disgusting, boring disaster.
Alphashado wrote: »Dead is dead. If grinding was the only reason the zone was popular, then ask yourself why that is. And before you say "Well when they nerf grinding, people will be forced to actually do all the group quest content", consider this: No they won't. They will just quit the game because the only way to get to level cap is scripted group content.
Trying to force people into groups in order to get to VR14 is the problem here that ZoS cannot seem to figure out.
You cannot force people to enjoy something they don't enjoy. Period.
I'm in 5 guilds, two are trading guilds, one is the guild that I made in which all 11 players have quit, the next one has lost most of it's members also and the one active guild is almost purely PvP.
