People have figured out a way to boost the immediate damage to a level bordering on ridiculous. There is a REASON everyone is using it, think about that for a second. People dont just mass switch to abilities willy nilly, nor does something become FOTM "because reasons"

There is obviously something wrong.
No, no this is not why people are using it. It is only broken if they use the unstable morph because the final explosion is uncapped. That is the only thing that needs to be fixed since uncapped is obviously unintended. People use it for that for the ulti generation and of course it being uncapped will hit a ton of people.
There is nothing else broken about it, everyone is using it now because the current meta and player skill is lacking horribly. Players are taking advantage of how stupid other players are (in standing in them continuously) coupled with in a big fight it can be difficult to see sometimes.2 -

✭I think it is referred to as optimizing your game play, I can not say for sure it is broken, but since it is such a fotm, I kinda lean that way, and if indeed if it is and gets a fix, don't worry some players will be off to whatever else they optimize there game play with
It would be nice to get an official word, so we can all stop speculating..:)

Doesn't mean the damage should be that high in that short of a time frame.

It doesn't matter what you do, if you don't have screen shots they say send screen shots to prove it, if you do, they find other things to harp on you about, I have been playing this game since 7 days before it came out and even longer counting beta, I played wow for 5 years, RIFT for a year, GW2... I know how to not stand in bad stuff..
The people trolling on here saying I need to learn to play don't actually disagree with me, they are just a few of the *** that run around spamming said ability. They don't want it fixed because then they would have to learn to play themselves.

Thechemicals✭✭✭✭✭Daedric minefield, shattering prison, energy orb. silver shards, scalding rune, elemental blockade can all hit you for 1k+ if you arent wearing critical hit protection gear and if your spell resistance is garbarge...or both. Also...if you didnt block or move.

Lord Stark✭✭✭The moving argument is old too, when you are stacked with 30 people on a flag taking in over 1k HPS as shown in the screen shot, you over power and stay stacked tight, you don't run like a pansy, and you damn sure don't die to 1 guys move without it being broken.

Thechemicals✭✭✭✭✭Im protecting the spell that i believe is not overpowered. I dont believe you healed /blocked/moved/had all the crit protection/ overcharged spell resistance/ and are just a victim.
You know what i really think happened? You and your eg pug horde went somewhere and you rooted yourself in place, judging by the aoe markings im likely not far from the truth. You got hit by Elemental and stood there trying to heal through it...the damage over time hit and hit and so did the explosions, and there you were just standing in place.
Then you looked at the recap and somehow translated the explosion to be the source of the 1k damage when in fact it was just spam damage over time+explosion that killed you. He used it multiple times because you and the horde decided to play stationary punching bag. Reason i had to leave eg myself.
Its 3-4 ticks at 200+ damage and an explosion for another 300+.Vr14 Templar since release- dual resto
