Launcher freezes upon opening (cannot even work game consultant)

Basically what happens is I download the Install from their website, open it and it will place 'the elder scrolls online' (the launcher) on my desktop as well as the Zenimax folder in applications. when i try to open it it freezes before i can even try to install it.

What I've tried:
-Uninstalling and downloading again
-Updated my mac
-Updated to Yosemite
-Restarting my computer
-Logging off closing all programs to make sure no ghost launcher are running in the background.
I contacted the elder scrolls team, they told me to download and run the Game Consultant but when I tried to open it, it tells me:
“Game_Consultant” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
My computer specs:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012)
Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
Serial Number C02JHKW9DR54
Please help me, Im starting it with two friends and theirs are working fine. Im holding up our whole party.

✭✭This looks more like a network problem than anything else.
Try the following FAQs:
How do I fix my launcher? It won't start at all, or it gets stuck at “looking for launcher updates.”

What do I need to do to allow the game through my firewall?

linowSoul ShrivenI have not been able to launch the game for two days. After I started the Game Consultant it took several hours for the process to complete. When I re-launched the same issue happened - "Missing Files / Not Updated".
My computer has been running the Game Consultant and downloading files at a very slow rate (2mb/sec) OVER ETHERNET Cable NOT wifi. It's been 12 hours and the downloading and "checking files" is still happening. The bar says 99% but has 2 Gigs to download.
I have a 27" iMac, 3.4 Ghz Core i7, 16 gig of RAM, with AMD Radeon HD 6970.
Everything else about my internet connection is running fine. Web bowsers, ROKU, PS4, yet even overnight when the only thing on the net was my Mac, it was downloading slow.
I don't think this is a network problem as all the Updates have been sluggish to download. I think the Game Consultant is broken. Where do I download a new one?
