I started a new character a few days ago and just completed the mages guild questline with being level 25.
I am wondering if this has anything to do with the dungeon scaling. All the guild quests are shown in the journal with my current character level. The villains in the quests show, however, the normal level it always was intended to be. Nevertheless, I can kill them without much problems.
Also the rewards of the quests are now scaled to my current character level. like the folium I get as a reward. I remember, that this was different in the past, the folium being level fourty-something.
On the other hand, all the group dungeons scale to the level of the group leader. Thus, I am not able to complete them on my own, once I reach level VR14, which was - also if not intended - possible before the whole dungeon scaling.
This leaves me wondering, if all this is working as intended. Nothing against dungeon scaling at all. Scaling them up is perfectly fine, so the players have a challenge later on, but why scale them down?
I remember the time, you had to be level 50 to fight the final battle. This was quite annoying, as the players had to grind to level 50. But being able to to this at, let's say level 30, is not really how this game should work.
