[Suggestions] Future of ESO, Ideas for the Devs

divinitywithinnub18_ESO
-Mount Raising (Being able to raise a Mount from a baby and the choices you make will influence the Starting stats and dare I say Color of your mount. This could be simply a quest with choices that results in a Mount or some kind of a daily excursion where you need to Feed it and Train it on a daily basis to influence the starting stats at adulthood, and you will eventually after a week or 2 be able to ride it.)
-Player Housing (Yes, yes. We have been asking for this, because its fun and awesome. I would love to see a Zone specific for Player Housing, where players can walk around and see how other people have designed their place. Have the Owner decide if the doors are open to the public or closed.)
-Achievements with gear(costume) for rewards (something wearable, so you can show off by just wearing it, it can be statless but looks awesome.)
-Quests that take you all over the world (This way Nirn will feel more like a World and not just Zone after Zone.)
-Gear with stats that enhance your mount (Would be popular for Harvesters who just want to ride faster from node to node and Look fabulous. Or it could be in the form of a Trait so it may be viable in PvP. But, I was hoping more for a Style associated with it in order to bring more Unique looks to the game.)
-Vanity Pets with bonuses (Pending we get the ability to hide other peoples pets. If we have more of a reason to have pets out, people will want a way to not see other peoples. My biggest 3 ideas for these are:
A Pack Pet, that holds 10/20/30 Items for you in its own personal Inventory. The Rarity of the pet the more Inventory he holds. (Blue, Purple, Yellow Quality).
An Auto-Loot pet, something that picks up the loot for you from the mobs after you kill them. So, you don't have to go click on everything you kill.
A PvP Buddy, a Pet that starts to make noise (bark if its a dog) if there is an enemy player in close proximity to you, in Cyrodiil.)
-Furniture crafting (to go with the housing. And your house has its own specific Inventory UI. Lets say it starts with 25slots for owning the house and you can drop your mats into it or add in a Desk or Cabinet to increase the Size of your inv. (example: 25 original slots, put in a Desk that costs 1 slot but adds 5 = 29 slots. or 25 original slots, put in two cabinets that cost 1 slot each but add 10 each = 43 slots. Also, perhaps add in Alliance Motifs so you can craft Furniture of the other alliances for your home, Lets say you get them from completing Cadwells Silver and Gold respectively. This will give players an incentive to want to complete them.)
-Player Titles with stats (give us a reason to want to get those Titles from achievements.)
-Barber (Enough said, a lot of us want this and it was Stating to be coming Soon.)
-Immersion quests (like deliver a package from this town to another town in a specific time frame without using wayshrines or teleporting. and its Repeatable.)
-Diving underwater (with fighting in the water. They had it in almost every other ES solo game, so theres no excuse to not have it for ESO eventually)
-Solo Repeatable Instanced Dungeons (Just like the 4-man but designed for 1 person.)
-Instanced Boss Only Fights (A long Boss fight designed for a party [or alliance] that is consisted of Stages, usually taking upwards of 30-45min to complete.)
-Gardening (where you can harvest your own crafting mats after a few days when the plant grows, if you take care of it, perhaps have it combined with your person house in the housing zone.)
-Escort Quests (where you have to protect an NPC on his journey, and if the NPC dies, you loose the quest. This can be a Dynamic event like the Daedra rifts that pop up randomly as your questing.)
-More weapon types (we are still missing a lot of amazing weapon types, enough said. Such as: Hand to hand weapons, Polearms, Whips. I would love to see at least another 6 weapon Trees for more options for everyone.)
-One-vs-one Dueling (We have all been asking, enough said.)
-More Classes (We have 4 basic ones, but we could still use more. Such as: A Bard Class and one of the Trees can be focusing on Buffing your fellow party members. Always a great idea for future Expansions to give veteran players a reason to make a new toon and play the game again from the beginning.)
-More Immersive travel (Such as: a Cart that you can ride from town to town, or even just a Rent a horse that you ride to another town. Both travel types are Automatic but have an option to Jump off when you wish, perhaps in order to get to a specific place that you may not have been able to get to naturally from a Wayshrine.)
-Yearly Global Events (Like Holidays or just Special Events run by the NPCs of ESO, usually bringing a quest to do that rewards you with a Costume for completing it. These quests only last a short amount of time, so you have to be there for it to get your Rare Costume, or have to wait till next year.)

I would love to see a third transformation like vampires and werewolves. Just throwing it out there if they added underwater the third one could be merman/mermaid with faster travel and different abilities

You should submit your feedback in-game via /feedback but most of these suggestions have been thrown out there a long time ago.

The mount-raising is interesting though. I don't know how realistic it would be in the context of ESO though.

And with your zone-specific housing idea. How would a player determine where to build their house? Could they just place it anywhere they wanted? If that were the case how would ZOS preventing an entire area from being overrun with homes?

Your quest ideas (Tamriel-wide / escort / immersion) are top notch. I hope to see some of these in the future.

Well done sir. Keep it up!
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

ZeniMax already said they are coming out with Player Housing, though your idea to expand on that is interesting. A lot of what you suggested is interesting and you don't need a pet to auto loot for you. You can already do that by changing your setting.

I dont know if that was ever in the ESO lore. But, I think if we do get Underwater activities eventually, we should at least get a new Armor Trait that increases swim speed.

First, thank you for your feedback.

Second, Ive played 2 other MMO's that had Mount raising, FFXI and LII. Not sure what you mean by realistic, but they were really fun and interesting ways to create your own mounts. FFXI was more like a daily quest you had to do with the Feeding and Training it, but it was relentless, if you missed a day, your baby would get sick or even die, then you would have to start all over. So, you needed dedication to make it to the 3rd week and actually get to ride it. In LII it was more lenient as such that it acted as a Pet that followed you as you leveled up, and it also in turn leveled up until it was matured enough to be able to ride it.

And Lastly, Ive played a few games that had a housing zone. Usually its a predetermined plot of land in the housing Zone, and you just have to buy it. The only issue here would be, How big would the zone be, and how many houses would be in it? Well, they can do that 2 different ways. It could either be Instanced, so you buy a house and then get placed into a specific Instance with the rest of the 100-200 players in that same Instance, which would result in a lot of different instances, and upon zoning into the housing zone, you would have to pick which Instance you wanted to enter. Or, It could be 1 Zone with a certain amount of plots/houses that when owned require a weekly Fee of Rent to keep it. (Kind of like the Guild Trader Shops). If the player didnt pay the rent for that week, a new player can attempt to buy it.

Currently we have 2 ways to Loot mobs. The first consists of non-auto loot in which you need to click on each of the dead mobs and manually pick what loot you want. The second is the built in auto-loot which after clicking on a corpse automatically throws everything from the mobs corpse into your inventory.
Im suggesting that the pet will simple go one step further and remove the need to click on the corpse after you kill it. When you kill the mob, the pet automatically throws the loot into your inv without the need for you to do anything :)
