360k AP for 1 stack of filed Grand Soul Gems???

Again.... 360k AP for 1 stack of filed Grand Soul Gems?!?!?!?!? What are you doing guys????? So I can save 7k now on FC's that rez 20 people in 1 second but I have to spend 7k+ on just 2 rez's that take forever and are too easily interuptable.. Throw us a bone here guys!!

Soul gems should be cheap AND give much AP when used. Ressing should be something that is expected, not a luxury. The downfall of ressing should only be that you need to control the ground in which people die, and that is it.

That price seems steep.

Does anyone know the price of a filled Grand Soul Gem found at a Mystic vendor in the PVE zones? They are less than 1080g, right?

I ask because the AP to gold prices are generally 3.33 to 1. A wall repair kit costs 300 AP or 90g. The empty Grand Soul Gems cost 121g so filled ones are obviously more. I don't remember how much but I don't think they are 1080g each which is the price they would need to be to maintain that 3.33 to 1 ratio.

What's the theoretical "conversion" rate between gold and AP. I can buy 50 empty soul gems for 6k gold and fill them in about twenty minutes by farming skeevers and mudcrabs. Never would I pay AP for a filled soul gem no matter what they cost in AP.

Yes, points are being given to AD for a scroll we had when the server went down. Logged in as soon as servers were back up. Magically back behind their gate. Scoreboard shows us with our two scrolls. AD with one. Somewhere the other AD scroll DC has was not reset.

Yay I'm going to get a soul gem when I res. Not only do I get to be a sitting duck for the 10 seconds it takes to res someone but I also get to lose out on a good 5 piece set so I'm even more vulnerable while doing it. The devs have severely overestimated the value of soul gems if they think they are worth 360k or 8 frickin traits. Are you kidding me? This should be a 3 trait set and at least decrease the casting time of res along with an additional gem.

I use a set of Kagrenac's Hope and along with one of the PVP passives total rez time is about 4 sec. or less. However you're a sitting duck during this time and obviously a prime target for any enemy DPS in the area. Therefore I only use this set up in big battles where the skill has major importance and I can have friendly protection.

As for soul gems, as I stated previously, I get them from farming in PVE areas.

Me too. I have never bought them and I passively fill them with Soul Lock. I have a 1:2 ratio of filled to unfilled with this method and I have never run out only because I use them judiciously. The only way to incentivize people into ressing will be to make them cheaper.

Lol I definitely don't use them "Judiciously" since FC's were taking away, I rez the moment I see a chevron turn to a plus sign.. 100% priority I don't care if theyre level 37 or vr14. I just want the price to support the habit. A habit that ZOS did encourage btw!

As far as ONE scroll being reset..I know it was EP's scroll and coming form a DC I still DONT like it.. I don't want things like that to happen, our guild/alliance wants fair competition, if we win I don't want to hear about disappearing scrolls..

It really doesn't even make sense that only one scroll only reset.. seems very peculiar.

Not sure about Haderus or Chillrend. They should be checked.

That would be awesome. I love this idea.

Gives reasons to have soul trap on a pvp bar. And gives value to the passive that gives you an inherent chance to trap a soul on a weapon attack kill.

If we go by the price of stones for AP or Gold then we get a conversion of 3AP=.9Gold. I forget the price of empty soul gems but someone said they remember it being 121gold.

So empty soul gems should cost 403AP. No one buys the filled gems in PvE because they are ridiculously high compared to unfilled gems and its trivial to fill them. It seems like the same is true here. Though I should mention they should cost 3000 AP not 3600 by the same conversion ratio.

So ZOS could you add empty soul gems to the list.

3,600 is way too much. But I am more worried about the cost of the empty ones. I think 360 or 400 would be much better, though still a bit steep (I have no idea why ZOS is so stingy with soul gems... people should be rewarded, not punished, for ressing!).

I know this may be a bit cheeky, but if you guys spent 1 afternoon running dungeons you would have stacks of soul gems.

You net 6-10 per dungeon and with the new scaling you get them in every dungeon. So your pledges are conservatively 15 gems a day and if you ran a couple more then you could always have some.

That being said I know most pvp hate pve so it may be a dirty suggestion to slum it with us in the dungeons

I do wish there was a way to bridge the two so we would actually want to interact with each other's chosen playstyle.
