    Agreed. And I think it needs to be pointed out (again) that this is affecting new players to the game, who cannot Update or Repair because they do not yet have anything to repair. It's their initial download of the client files that is not working, because the Launcher is only downloading the last patch and not the whole client.

    I have experienced the exact same things. Especially the corpse blocking which is very frustrating while soloing.

    Can anyone confirm that using caltrops on enemies and then stealthing when they are hit by your caltrops DoT, it breaks you out of stealth completely?

    Did it at Chalman earlier whilst stealthed, then cloaked back into stealth only to discover I was permanently detected.

    I wasn't sure if this was done on purpose, but I'd like them to come back. Sometimes leaving Cyrodiil to buy supplies isn't an option if the queue is long.

    I noticed the same exact thing! At first I thought it was my shadow quality on my video card settings in game, but it's not. I have adjusted it at all levels and i still get the weird octagonal shadow shape!

    Yes this has happened to me as well, but in addition, as others have reported numerous times, when you become a Werewolf, the ultimate you gain while being a Werewolf will disappear as soon you become a humanoid again. This happens every time.
    Yeah but should you be allowed stay as a werewolf indefinitely?

    My most favorite bug from 1.5.3 was porting to Craglorn to turn in a crafting writ yesterday and upon arriving and taking my first step, going back to the loading screen, then watching myself falling though the air against a bright white background. Then back to the loading screen. It was quite lovely and surreal.

    I never saw that before, even in beta.

    I agree. You should. Vampires gain ultimate from swarm of bats so it's only fair. I guess it only depends on how much ultimate is gained while in that form. And my question wasn't actually so much of a challenge as it was a legitimate question. Maybe you should be able to stay as a werewolf as long as you are killing things. Skyrim had a system where you could feed to maintain your form.

    I'm having an 'bug' type issue where in the Alikr desert, during the quest 'March of the Ra Gada', i cant activate the 2nd Shrine to Summon and Slay the Goblin Chief, there's an arrow that tells me where to go, but there's no way to activate the shrine. A few people are experiencing this bug also.

    Try doing a bit of searching around next time before shouting at everyone in caps. This was posted yesterday:
    When we release patch 1.5.4 (tomorrow), we'll be reducing the amount of XP required to earn a Veteran Rank to 1,000,000 XP. We are also fixing the issue where you are not gaining any Veteran Ranks, even though you've earned enough XP.

    There's currently an issue where you are not gaining as much XP as intended while progressing through Veteran Ranks.
    STATUS: Potentially fixed in patch 1.5.4 an this was edited today

    Even with 1.5.4, there has still not been any feedback from the Community Managers to the public related to the two topics I posted almost a full week ago.

    Please reply to the discrepancy between in game and the patch notes for Absorb Magic, and the bugged Spectre's Eye gear set that was supposed to be fixed with 1.5.2 below.

    Per Patch Note:
    • Absorb (Defensive Posture morph): This ability now absorbs 100% of damage caused, and also heals for 15% of your maximum health.

    There is a world of difference between what the patch notes imply and what is currently in game. If this is not a bug, please let us know so we don't expect something else.

    As of patch 1.5.4 still no fix for the Sound FX issues reported. Geeze what is the problem here? I still fail to understand how you are still working on a fix for sound issues that were working just fine prior to installing Update 5.

    The first bugs reported with 1.5 were issues with Sorc pets and no word yet if these problems are being looked into.
    The Restoration staff ability "Regeneration" and its morphs are not healing pet.
    Other staff heals work, only the Regeneration ability stopped working on pets.

    Guessing this has something to do with the change that it also no longer randomly heals full health NPCs.
    If they ever create a Legendary recipe it better contain bacon as one of the ingredients. I'm just sayin'.

    Taunt issue is still not on the list. There is also an issue in Hel RA for the right side 2nd boss, when it splits, sometimes the images appear in the middle of the room instead of the 4 corners...

    When u swap your weapon to a greatsword or 1h&s, you now have a 1-2sec cooldown for light and heavy attacks. This only happens with these two types of weapons.

    I don't have any summoning abilities learned, but with Velocious Curse and Hardened Ward it (eventually) shows up. For some reason character sheet doesn't reflect that immediately after placing them on skill bar, but after I swap weapon twice, it shows increased regen.

    I recently rolled a new toon and he's currently using an inferno staff. Heavy attacks, if the button is held down until it releases on its own, break stealth. Is this "normal" (i.e. intended game mechanic)?

    I do NOT believe that it is normal. To be sure we're talking the same in terms of stealth, I interpret that as crouching and receiving the HIDDEN confirmation in the reticle.

    I just confirmed on PTS (v1.5.2) that using a heavy (auto-attack) with an inferno staff does NOT break stealth.

    My test was not against another player or NPC which would put me in combat and yes of course it would break stealth as does all actions that put you in combat.

    Provided I did test exactly what you were, v1.5.4 behavior does appear to be different.

    So after reading all the confusing info on the VR XP points, as a VR9, should I stop doing the Cadwell's Gold quest, I have 2.5 zones to go and I'd like to make it to VR 10 at least, before doing the Cyrodill zone.

    Spaghetti legs (great description, btw!): This happens when the movement (walk, run, etc.) animations become de-synchronized and you end up in a weird, unintentionally hilarious walk or run cycle. The tough part is identifying exactly when it happens and what's causing it. I've had reports of exiting emotes or crafting tables potentially leading to this but have had mixed success reproducing the issue. If/when it happens, sending a /bug in-game briefly mentioning what you were doing at the time it happened would be extremely helpful.

    I know @Kronuxx‌ has already bugged this and mentioned a couple ways to recreate (helmet toggle add-on, departing from crafting station). I wanted to add a third way, and again this is *consistently* recreatable. And again, it involves the helmet, but no add-on this time.

    Bring up your in-game menu for Gameplay (ESC key -> Settings -> Gameplay),

    Click the "Hide Helmet" option and *immediately* start running (don't close the menu or anything).

    There's a tiny delay between clicking the helmet toggle, and changing your appearance. If you are in motion when your appearance changes, you get spaghetti legs, 100% of the time.

    (This is very similar to Kronuxx's report of the add-on, but from a developer's standpoint it might be relevant to know that the add-on isn't itself the cause.)

    Reflective scale isn't reflecting lethal arrow all the time. Even when you constantly have it active by recasting, some lethal arrows get through, possibly base snipe and focus aim as well.
