I agree with you 100%. But you agreed with me also by saying, "They're simply not cut out to deliver this feeling to every single one of their millions of players." That's exactly what im all about. Don't give that feeling to everyone. I'm not trying to stand out exactly but I want a goal, a reason to go waste time looking for something that I may never find.KhajitFurTrader wrote: »Lesson 1: if you're craving to be a beautiful and unique snowflake, don't play MMOs at all. Some may try to fake it, but two minutes of thinking about what they do should get you out of that notion
Well, maybe the promise of temporarily achieving a partial (i.e. not global) uniqueness is used as a strong motivation by developers across the board? Think carrots-on-a-stick...Terribleone06b14a_ESO wrote: »Why do you think everyone is looking for the Dwemer books? Its somewhat unique right now. Everyone can get it eventually but right now its special. I dropped what I was doing and went and found a page. Felt fun again, not grinding, questing, trialing, etc. Just looking for something I may not find, but not everyone has it.
Life lesson, your not unique or special. Your just another person, back in line.

Life lesson: no one listens to you or respects what you have to say when you have poor reading comprehension and even poorer grammar.
Also, I agree with OP. The game needs to stop nerfing stuff into the ground and handing out the same garbage participation ribbon to everyone.
Not everyone is equal, not everyone is the best. Get used to it. I seriously don't understand why the industry trend is to try to make everyone feel like this. It's seriously getting worse than peewee soccer.

"yeah I found a purple recipe last night" and they go "nice I think I have that one" or "cool I haven't found that on yet". and that's the end of it. There's no motivation to run home and get on the game for anyone to put some time in to find some unique drops or treasure that not everyone will find without luck and putting in time actually doing something other then looking in pots for ***.
To sum it up you've been giving out participation trophies since the game was released. That doesn't make people want to participate. (well some I suppose! but that's what America is coming to.) The most unique thing I have is a pig I bought off eBay! Other then that nobody has ever asked about anything other then that pig and even now nobody asks about it anymore. I had to buy that just to say to my friend I've got it, you don't, and probably never will! Time for bacon I suppose...

Get the emperor.
Get full legendary gear, including amulet and rings.
Clear Hardmode Dragonstar Arena
Learn Nirnhoned trait for every weapon/armor
Get one Char from every class up to V14
Collect all the different motifs (daedric, barbaric, dwemer, etc.)
Play all Dungeons and Trials on hardmode.
Reach PvP rank 50.
Really, there are enough things in eso to waste your time with and are suited for bragging.

Terribleone06b14a_ESO wrote: »Get 1 char from every class to V14? Why? *** im still working on getting 1 char to V14. lol. I did start another char at one point, got them to level 7 and was like im not doing this again and haven't played them since.
Terribleone06b14a_ESO wrote: »What about all the stuff in the meantime like questing areas, caves and dungeons that have no reason to even explore or go into more then once other then to knock it off the list saying you completed it. Even the bosses and dolmens. You complete it and congrats heres 25 gold and a couple items your going to deconstruct or sell. How does killing the boss of a cave not have a chance to drop something special enough to go back and kill him again to try to get something out of it. Maybe even a 24 hour buff or SOMETHING!
Terribleone06b14a_ESO wrote: »Its just "FILLER" and feels like a waste of time. Im almost done with all 3 factions and in all of tamriel theres not a single reason to go back to any area in the game. Theres nothing there to go look for or do.
Terribleone06b14a_ESO wrote: »(Except look for dwemer pages now) And notice everyone has dropped what they are doing and went back to look for them... or so it seems. They did add undaunted stuff but even then you run the dungeon just to complete it. Theres no sense of adventure while your in there like hey maybe ill find that rare drop or something this time.
Terribleone06b14a_ESO wrote: »And yes I've PVPd. I can only do it so long before I get bored. They die and run back, they kill you and you run back. Its all about how bad you can beat them till they leave. In most cases its usually me that gets sick of being killed lol. Of course PVPing drunk doesn't help but that's on me I suppose.
Terribleone06b14a_ESO wrote: »Why the hell cant I get a rare chance of taming a guar and riding that. That's the special *** im talking about.
Anyways don't get me wrong I enjoy the game, but it can be better. Some of you will agree, some wont. Either way it doesn't matter. CHEERS.
