Finishing Aldmeri Dominion for Cadwell's Silver

I'm currently trying to finish the Aldmeri Dominion (AD) with my Daggerfall Covenant character for the questline Cadwell's Silver. I've gotten towards the end in Reaper's Marsh (RM). I know I haven't finished all of the available quests in RM however I'm not seeing any additional quests related to the main story for the AD; I just finished the quest related to taking the two sisters down their spiritual path for related to becoming the Mane. I don't see the start for the quest in Dune and I've been finishing up secondary quests and dungeons. To my surprise I just received the Dominion Hero title. What does it take to finish up the AD side for Cadwell's Silver?

    Have you read through Cadwell's Almanac in your (J)ournal window to make sure you completed all the required quests?

    Look in your achievments page (J) and go to the Cadwell's Journal page. Look through all of the required quests for Cadwell's Silver. If it doesn't have a checkmark by it, then you have to complete it.

    If you have completed all of the Cadwell's Silver quests and every one of them has a checkmark by it, then go to The Harborage and talk to Cadwell and get access to Cadwell's Gold.

    Reapers March has a weird quest progression, in that you get the quest that sends you to Dune from the first city you come to, and then in Dune you get the quest that sends you to the next place (a temple). If you don't get those quests, then they game does not start the quests. So, go back to the places you have finished and find the leaders and talk to them, see if they give you anymore quests.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Actually I've encountered the same problem on my non-vet run through of AD. I had assumed it was because there was a meeting of two quest lines that I had missed - let me explain:

    @Gedalya You are at the point where either Shazah or the other one has been made Mane, and now the Dominion leaders are standing in a semi-circle around where the ceremony took place, correct? This is where I was. In my situation, I spoke with each dominion leader and it became apparent that the next quest involved speaking with each of the factions leaders and convincing them to reconcile, however the quest wasn't available to me, I merely picked up that this was what the next quest would be from talking to the NPCs (they told me "The Queen plans to do 'this'… Speak with the Queen." When I spoke with the queen she gave me no quest.

    I realized I had already done this quest though: as a part of the main story. The next quest's name is "Messages across Tamriel" and it's the quest you need to do to get into Coldharbour. If you had continued with the Main Story quests before doing the Dominion quests, you would have unlocked this quest before it became available in the Dominion quest-line.

    It is my assumption that the only way to finish the Dominion quest-line "properly" is through doing the main story quests and the dominion quests concurrently, so that "Messages across Tamriel" unlocks at the same time for both.

    However in your case, you've already done the Main story before you've done the Vet content, so I assume it stopped there for you too, because unless they plan to send you to Coldharbour to fight Molag Bal again, it needed to stop somewhere.

    I have not actually done the AD VR Style yet. Only with my Leveling Toons that were AD

    The quests for Reapers March start back in Malabal Tor once you get the Silvenar and the Green Lady (?) Married. Then you are sent to the first town in Reapers March*, that quest then sends you to Dune, and then the Dune Quest sends you to the Temple, where the Mane is chosen. From there, Messages Across Tamriel is started that sends you to Cold Harbor.

    Since his quest for Dune is not started, then he needs to go back to the first town in Reapers March and get the quest for Dune. As going to Dune will not start the quest (which is the beginning of the quest to select the Mane)

    So the OP has not gotten anywhere near the part where MoT is going to start.


    *That part is kind of fuzzy for me as I worked through it and only had issues getting Dune to work (ironically on my second character who forgot to talk to somebody in the first town, my first talked to the correct person the first time)

    Filter for Main Story and Reaper's, it will be those lowest level listed quests. There is very little information for the individual quests but maybe enough to get you started with the right NPC.

    I ran into the same thing because I missed the first one at Fort Grimwatch. Fortunately you can see what you've missed in Cadwell's journal like others have said.

    At some point it would be nice if Zos added the main faction quests as a quest category like they do mages, fighters, & main quests. I mean I know them all by now but it would be a good thing for new players coming in I think.

    From what I remember when your finished up with the dark mane quest, you need to go back to Rawl'kha to get the "to Dune" quest? That may however be incorrect.
