Here's the shocker for you -- Gina says there is no major problem with the xp gain and there is no fix coming -- well a minor one and if you don't like go play another game. Seeing they got most of our six month sub. they don't give a crap.

After reading what Gina wrote, I am inclined to consider that the forum is not accurately representing the XP situation at the veteran ranks.
I guess I am going to have to go make a veteran level character and see for myself.

Yeah, all the people in the VP vs. XP thread are lying...

Not looking so dramatic now am I :P They don't even know how badly they have screwed up (they seriously don't get it). Basically they have created a massive divide, those that were VR14 pre patch 1.5 and those that were not and never will be. You cant balance the xp for the champ system before it is out, that's just rrrrrrrrr, how can they be so utterly stupid!!!!!
I think they are just telling people to play your toon to vr1 and quit -- you will not lvl anymore and if you do you will be fighting mobs 4 to 7 lvl's above you. So go directly to jail -- do not pass go -- and get no xp. -- I cannot believe Gina said there is no real problem and just keep playing -- That's insane

Not to rub salt in the wound but last night I went from 37 to 47 (they have a 12x xp boost for class quests if you bought the expansion) on my Merc in SWTOR. Ahhh advancement, love it
Echoing Lordrichter... I left SW-TOR and my sixteen characters, deleting every one of them on my account (talk about rage-quitting) because of their new expansion.lordrichter wrote: »Not to rub salt in the wound but last night I went from 37 to 47 (they have a 12x xp boost for class quests if you bought the expansion) on my Merc in SWTOR. Seriously. You went up 10 levels last night. You were able to do this because you purchased something in their store. This is a good thing?

SW-TOR was enough of a brain-dead game already. Their expansion takes away the ability to set up your characters the way YOU want them (kind of like what WoW did). God forbid that you actually have to think...
I understand their next expansion will remove the keyboard and mouse interface. All you'll have to do is login and the game will play itself for you while you watch.

The game is drastically different since release, and has improved drastically for the better. Yes, there's still problems and still things which need refinement, but to say the game shouldn't have come out because the LFG tool is a bag of sadness is kind of overblown. It does (kind of) work, and guild and zone chats have been helping people group up easily enough. It needs a work, yes, but I think stating the impact is overblown.OrangeTheCat wrote: »A lot of small bugs is forgivable. They were probably identified and deemed more of an annoyance and not show stoppers. But major subsystem failures (like the LFG tool and XP)? Probably should have stopped release. Surely they were identified before release and if not then another indicator of either gross incompetence or maybe negligence.
And what about the issues since day one? Sluggish/laggy skills? Broken NB invisibility? Etc, name your "favorites". How do we oppologize those away after so much time has passed?

I am so glad you took time from such an exciting game to come tell us that.......
Thechemicals wrote: »That is what you consider killing a game? new to mmo? WoW mmo you couldnt even play the druid class for a month and a half on release lol.
Actually, you could pretend playing "a class" called druid for much more than a month and half yet it only started working after the feral druid tree got completely redone.
Multiple issues here, first we get less xp from mob kills, this is to compensate for the reduced xp requirements to level high level and probably to reduce grinding, but this don't help lower veteran levels.I see that the non problem has not been fixed -- So people over the weekend we need to warn player not to be questing in the lower vr zones. Those quest will be lost along with the xp and a lot of very unhappy campers will have to swallow the painful pill of lost xp. They maybe under the believe that what Gina said (that everything is fine and just go ahead and quest) is so wrong and ZOS is not going to let them know. Maybe we can do what Zos refuses to do and save a lot of people from screwing up their toon
