The "Can't Attack" bug

    Hitting ESC twice gets me out of it. Annoying, but a quick solution until they fix the problem.

    Same. Only with my nightblade dual weild. Happened to me constantly on Sunday (worst day for me in ESO by far + bank bug+loading+lag, ect.). Alting to inventory usually results in me getting killed also. After respawning from this I am usually stuck in slow walking mode for at least 30-60 seconds or sometimes I have to /reloadui or login/out to fix it.

    I have heard that this "freezing" problem has to do with having the launcher open while playing the game. Try maybe closing the launcher after you log in, that might fix your issue! Hope this helped.

    Experienced this 4 or 5 times since early access. Sword'n'Board DK. Last time when i finished "Sadal's Final Defeat" (EP-Quest). Loaded instance where the final fight takes place. Right from the start no action bars, no attacks. When i started to dodge attacks from his skeleton minions, i could act normal again.

    I thought this bug was already fixed some time ago, but it's not!

    Yesterday I fought against two crocodiles and suddenly after a heavy attack with my staff, I couldn't perform light or heavy attacks any longer. Clicking the left mouse button doesn't do anything.
    Walking, running, jumping and casting spells worked like a charm, only the light and heavy attacks didn't work.

    In the moment in which the last crocodile died, everything was suddenly back to normal and working again.

    So please.. fix this. ^_^v

    I still have it too. Gotten used to adding hitting C twice quick as part of my skill rotation :p

    It isn't Flurry. I'm a Templar sword and board/resto. I don't have Flurry and I get this bug too.

    At this point I think just about everybody who plays this game fairly regularly has experienced this. It's an issue that's been present pretty much since launch. It seems to be a combination of bugs and flaws related to input lag, animations, line of sight and pathing that have lumped together to produce this lovely little mess.

    As some have pointed out the Flurry skill is a major culprit.

    Other skills like Pounce, Dragon Leap and Critical Charge will also cause lockups. This happens most often (in my experience anyway) when the player can't path properly to their target.

    This will happen frequently with skills that have a cast time when you try to cancel the cast or get interrupted while casting. Snipe and Crystal shards cause this a lot.

    It can happen with instant cast spells if you click the spell too frequently in a short amount of time.

    It can also happen when you've been stunned or knocked down.

    And I'm pretty sure there are other causes as well.

    As far as I know the only way to fix the issue is to either open up a menu or relog and neither option is very convenient.
    Beware all ye who log on for here there be typos...

    I am shield and sword as well as dual wield. This problem plagues me. ESO get your act together. Not being able to open doors or fight back for lengthy periods of itmes without logging out is a broken game. Your game is broken. Have fun putting this crap on your resume.

    This bug is back for me after Monday's update. Hitting ESC "sometimes" fixes it, but not always...ugh...

    This bug was never gone for me. Before 1.5 I had this bug often with my bow.

    Strange thing, ever since posting this, and I mean exactly when I posted this, I never had this issue again. But I do get stuck inside enemies or inside objects when using invasion.
