I would rather have new content with small fixes along with it
I'd like the Champion system to roll out so there is no more of this VR/VP/XP ambiguity.

    Option #4:
"Maybe just let the various departments do their f**king job? I don't want the art team working on bug fixes, or the PvE team working on Cyrodiil fixes."

    This one.

Different teams have different specialities, and it is invariably a big mistake to try to pile everyone onto one single thing. Let the bug teams do their work, let the new content teams do their work, let the artists do their art.

I'm keen to see the dark brotherhood / thieves guild / justice system because that was my favourite bit from previous ES games.

Bugs will be fixed as part of the regular patch/update cycle, no point getting wound up by them. In particular, balancing takes time because you need to do it slowly & carefully & observe the results, otherwise you'll just end up overcompensating for something and making it worse. Hence it will take a number of updates. Exploits should always be the #1 priority when bug reports are being triaged.

Many of the things you have listed are general in nature; correcting in-game problems by contrast deals with specifics, and with large games like ESO, LoTRO, SWTOR, and WoW, balancing, and fixes will always be on the radar as they come with the territory. I could understand a dedicated patch if there was a serious issue; and yes I understand that every issue has at least one person who thinks "ZoS must fix immediately!".
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

I would rather have a update dedicated to fixing/balancing most/all problems at a later date
To be more specific, I would rather see a v1.6.1 update dedicated to fixing whatever they break in v1.6. Just like I would like to see a v1.5.1 update dedicated to fixing everything broken in v1.5. It is how the system works, IMO. The decimal versions should just represent bringing out the new content.
Oooh look, lot's of Butterflies! Wait! Butterflies? Get out of here Sheo, stop bugging me!

I love that when 1.5 contains pages of fixes, both for bugs and balance, people still aren't satisfied.

They will never balance it till they implment all the craziness they promised because because championship will just undo all of their work. Every championship point is going to scale the stats and everything will have to adjust. So i doubt they are going to balance everything and then have to rebalance as soon as they put out championship.

However you have a great point and they should of just balanced the game and gave more people incentive to pvp in cyrodill instead of all this craziness that will take months and maybe years to deliver. Hell update 5 came out and they couldnt give us half what the promised. We won't see any signficant change to pvp this year...Just small updates that will keep you subbing...and subbing...and subbing.

They just need to force everyone over to cyrodill and the game would be fun. Such a simple concept... Instead were mindlessly grinding out VR levels in the same content as before with no reward. Wait actually we get a skillpoint now! wooptedo! cuz most of us already had all the skillpoints we need to max out the skilltree without that 1 skillpoint from a vr level you have to grind your life away to get.

Since ZoS has no idea how to balance, or fix, they should just remove classes and let you pick the abilities, and focus on fix. And after a while, those Sheogorath follower ZoS could watch what is the cheese build, by looking at what most monkeys using, and ballance em.

Not sure how the OP can post those almost entirely PVP-related suggestions for an entire update to exclusively focus on without using the word "PVP" once. As if they're a list of universal concerns to the general playing population.

    They're not.

I would rather have new content. The new stuff needs to be implemented or ZoS will be making fixes and balances to the fixes and balances they just made. Meaning; if they fix it now the updates will just undo their fixes and create new bugs/balances that need to be fixed. Championship will change states and offset the balance and new bugs will pop up in 1.6. The updates should happen before serious balancing occurs.
