Definitely need more bank space.Im tired of spending so much time shuffling stuff between characters each time I play. Actually, it seems I spend even more time log in-log out bank shuffle than actually playing but anyway..To me something just doesnt seem right with the amount of space we are given.
I dont consider myself a 'hoarder' but my bank is always filled. Let me explain what is NOT in my bank. There is no more than 1 stack of anything. For me, I dont think I need more than 100 of anything at any given time, so this is not an issue. There is no fluff (trophys, maps, pets etc) no room for these things. There are no weapons, apparel (research or otherwise) consumables, motifs, or misc items in the bank. No room for these either. And there are absolutely no provisioning mats of any kind, nor any 'raw' mats (ores or anything that need to be refined) These things are carried by each character and not stored in the bank.
The only things in the bank are already refined mats (no more than 1 stack of each) runes and alchemy ingredients and none of these are above the level of the crafter himself (highest level being 25, yes I said 25...)
It just seems to me that either the bank space given is too small, or we have far too many ingredients needed in order to do basic crafting. Just my opinion on this...

    Do this:

If you have an empty guild slot then create a guild and proceed to the starter area. Recruit randoms until you have 10 people. Chances are they will quit the game (You'd be surprised how many do) leaving you with a guild bank where no one can withdraw/deposit except you and their abandoned seats allow you to keep utilizing the guild bank without interruption.

If you do a lot of crafting, bank space become a quality of life issue.

It can be done but you're going to be doing a ton of muleing.

If they doubled the bank space everything would be solved.

Bank space in ESO feels terribly small. Over priced? YES. Even for my friends that was one of the first major complaints and negative factors about the game. Almost a driving factor to not playing it. For a time-limited player, if I'm wasting my 2 hours of game play with item management or if I'm forced to have to create mules, there's an issue. I just want to have fun, toss stuff in my bank, keep going and deal with it later. If it was done by design, then why even allow trading between characters on the same account? We desperately need more bank space, a way to trade between characters or simply don't count certain items towards bank space, (e.g. not counting provisioning, style and traits items might be a HUGE bonus for us) . Yes I can sell stuff, which I do. I can craft junk, which I do. But what is the big deal with giving us more bank space? Will it destroy the economy or something? Really, is it that big of a server resource strain or does it take up that much more database space when all the items will go to mules anyway? I'd think people logging in and out of accounts to manage items is more of an issue on the server and more of a waste. Just imagine 50 thousand+ people logging in an out of 5 characters to move junk around... For an awesome MMO, make it more awesome with MORE bank space, give us the game that every player wants... more bank space.. PLEASE I implore you! :)

Yeah, but then if they don't quit, you have randoms in your guild, jacking your stuff, or (if you remove their access) complaining that they can't use the bank.

Better idea: Anyone out there on the NA server planning to quit? Send me a PM and get into my guild before you do! :)

Every single Guild I am in does not let me withdraw from the Guild Bank. But, then again, I am not in the Guilds for the bank.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

As it is this is one of the game's worst features. I wouldn't recommend the game to anyone until it's changed.

Bottom line - spending twenty minutes a day shuffling inventory around between alts isn't fun.

ESO is up against the likes of GW2 whose storage system - even before you spend any money in their cash shop to upgrade it - is painless. Both players and reviewers will necessarily compare the two and find ESO not just lacking, but wilfully sadistic.

If ESO wants to grow I believe it has no choice but to change this.

There's definitely not enough space, especially if you're a player like I am who A) hordes everything they may need down the road, even if there's no chance of it needing it now. B)Is a high level player constantly collecting new sets from the new high level content in this game C) has alts of different classes and D)crafts and needs even more space for stuff.

There is most definitely not enough bank space in this game at the moment, to argue that means you just don't play the game to the same extent as other players. So while you may not have a problem with space, there are most definitely alot of people who do.

Also... we shouldn't have to log in and out to get on mules just because we a have a particular piece of gear on it that we need. Its inconvenient and more than a little annoying. I can understand needing a mule if you simply can't afford to buy more space for your bank, but not even having the option to buy that needed space is wrong in my opinion.

All my trophys ect have now been destroyed to make way for a 4th character.

In my mind i see these pets and trophys a lot like toys, no use to an adult but some of the trophys are quite fun especially when you use them in starter zones and you get a crowd watching me try to teleport or something.

I wont miss them i am annoyed i had to delete them all to make way for a new character as 4 of my slots are mules and i won't get to go and have a bit of fun with them until i get them again and in all probability have to delete them again for the same reason.

    Groan.

    Not voting.

    There is enough space.

It is a limitation by design intended to make mastering multiple crafts challenging. It is a trade off. You either have enough space to do everything of one thing, or just certain aspects of many things.

I expect the bank space will be sold for real money on commencment of ESO Unlimited.

This would explain the lack of comment and lack of increase. They have been planing this for a while i reckon.

So the changes brought by 1.6 have arrived and guess what i still have 5 mules, i could probably turn that into 4. Pathetic.
