Just because you say it's true doesn't mean it is or we should believe you. Take it from a millionaire playboy ;)

Jokes aside, QQing isn't going to help ZOS to sort it out. Create a ticket with what you have/know and let them deal with it. Posting on the forums isn't going to do anything.

I don't see any proof, I goggled and search for "Unlimited Gold ESO" since someone said its easy to find.. well I'm not seeing anything that hasn't been addressed. There were previous exploits that allowed dupes or easy gold that people worked for and were banned, but to think there is this magic button to deliver someone unlimited money effortlessly, I call BS. As someone said this is server side, You can delete all your files, or alter them, then re-download all the files again and you will see your character is unaffected because character data is server side info.

What you may see like many games, is a "Hack Generator" tool which is just an exe virus cloned to look like a hack tool that DOES NOT work, you can find these things everywhere for every game.

But if you are certain this unlimited gold cheat works, feel free to show us how effortlessly you got 999999999999999g on the PTS. Go for it.

I have played mmo's since the 90's, I have seen many cheats and hacks over the years, I have seen some things in ESO that make me raise an eyebrow, I am not naïve to the fact there cheats and hacks going on ESO, and almost every online game.

Its the only way to get them to respond. My guild has sent in over 1000 support tickets ...

Really, because this makes you sound even more like a liar.. over 1000? So the game has been out a little more than 200 days, and you claim at a minimum you have seen and reported at least 5 cheaters a day? I have seen a few exploiters and bots along the way, but 5 cheaters a day? Are you sure your not just reporting everyone you lose to in pvp?

Am I the only one here who remembers back when gold farming bots were running around underground, flying, and running at super-fast speeds? The idea that there has never been an exploit or cheat in this game is laughable. If you can do that kind of stuff in PvE, I don't see why it would be impossible to do in PvP.

I spent much of this morning speaking to a rep from ZOS regarding the Hacks that were mentioned in the OP. They have confirmed the existence of them are investigating each one that I sent in right now and I have been assured that they are working on a hot fix that should prevent such programs from exploiting loop holes in their system that allows for such hacks in the first place. They are very real and are a very real problem.. I was told that an announcement regarding these things may also soon be provided by ZOS (If the powers that be authorize it) in an attempt to deter players from quitting over these hacking programs.

I expect some of you will not understand these hacks or how they work, which is fine. You are not privy to the same information that I have obtained and with good reason. No, I will not elaborate as I do not wish to create any more cheaters or hackers. The OP was for shock value to convince ZOS to take immediate action (at personal risk to myself) and it did indeed accomplish that. For now however all we can do is wait for the solution to be presented and implemented.

I've never once seen, or heard any indication of someone cheating/hacking. Of course what one player has or hasn't seen isn't the bottom line, but this thread seems to be exaggerated. OP is just trying to spread fear and doubt.

I wasn't going to post on this thread, but come on Cazic???!!!! During launch there were tones and tones and tones of cheaters/exploiters/botters. They exist in all MMO's out there, and this game really had a problem with cheaters/botters actually traveling under the map gathering mats at first.

There was a problem with cheating then, so it stands to reason that there is a new problem with cheaters finding a new way to cheat now. Its the same reason that computer viruses still exist, people are constantly creating new cheats or viruses whenever the old cheats or viruses get fixed or blocked.
As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.

There are plenty of people exploiting/cheating, however, the OP is really over exaggerating. I have personally seen and documented various players doing many things that would be considered exploits or cheats, and I've reported every one of them.

I think the main issue is that all of those players, even the worst of them are still around, there weren't banned or suspended. They just continue to play as normal, and when the next exploit is discovered they take advantage of that.

Overall I would say that you do not run into it all that often, but when you do, it definitely puts a serious damper on your gaming.

Hopefully they start coming down a bit harder on those people, and those that remain choose to stop doing it. Hopeful, I know.

Hi, folks. We are now closing this thread, as the forums are not the correct place to report exploits or other Terms of Service violations. As Gary mentioned earlier in this thread, our team does indeed take these violations seriously and, even though you won't see the outcome of their investigations, investigates each report.

The reason that we don't want potential exploits or violations posted on the forums is in part because we don't want others to read about them and go try them out. We encourage you to keep sending in reports so that they can be looked into using the proper channels. Thank you for your understanding.
